I asked questions about PINS and codes on the sub-forum and feel no one will answer them there.

What is the difference between PINS and codes?

I have a code but have no idea where to get a PIN.

Does one just mention they have them when reserving a room?

I'd like to lowdown on them!

Thanks! :thumbsup2

That sub-forum doesn't get a ton of traffic so sometimes it can take a day or two to get answers.

However, in your case, there are two stickies at the top of that forum that will answer your questions:

FAQ & Guidelines for Discounts & Codes:

Everything You Need to Know About Discount Codes:

Codes are available to anyone....or to certain groups lik Disney Visa holders. As long as you fit the criteria, you can book using a code.

A pin is specific to the person they were issued to. Usually in an email...sometimes by snail mail. They are non transferable. If you can use it or apply it to your vacation, fine, but you can't give it to someone else to use.

That's my interpretation of the difference. I haven't read the sticky, so hopefully I haven't forgotten something.
