Codes room-availability getting low?

One member of my travel party got a new discount code yesterday. I forwarded it to our agent, but she warned me up front that she's not been finding any availability for her clients with these codes for the past couple of weeks.

Cross your fingers that this works for us. We HAVE to get our trip budget down more.

That's interesting. I have a code and am booked for a week in Sept at the GF. Called yesterday, gave them 2 different date ranges in Oct. (beginning the 19) and both were available.

Is it possible some of the dates you are looking for are blacked out?

definitely not. In fact, she hasn't even called in for us yet. She needed additional info, first. She just warned me in advance that for the past couple weeks, her clients with these codes have not been able find availability for them, or whatever.

Currently, I am on hold with CRO while they fruitlessly search for our discount. They keep looking up the pin number, and finding nothing.

How frustrating! Cross your fingers! I can only HOPEFULLY make this happen if I get to use this code for a value resort.

UPDATE: I called CRO myself, just in case. Got 3 rooms reserved. My agent just emailed, and got a HIGHER quote than our AAA discount. Don't know what happened. Now got to figure out how to transfer my holds to her and, I guess, cancel the AAA-discounted ressie I already had with her.

I can understand the GF having availability. I worked with some public codes and all the values and moderates are filling up very fast.

HA! got it. All 3 rooms at Pop. Didn't even have to settle for a different value resort. I am going to pay the deposit, and then transfer the ressie to my TA. Then she will cancel my original ressie (the AAA discounted one).

By the time a code was available for my dates our resort (the Poly) was completely sold out. So were the other monorail resorts. Our friend was able to use a code for the same dates at POP though.

I checked the Disney website today and punched in my dates for AKL and it said there was nothing available. My Ta booked me there with the 40% off code on Wednesday so it must have filled up fast.

we just booked beach club with the 40%. AKL was still available but not other deluxes for our time slot.
