codes in November or December?

Have there historically been discount codes in November or December?
I'd like to go back for a second trip in December. We don't usually do 2 big vacations in one year but I'm addicted to WDW now!

DW and I have gone to WDW during Dec., each year since 1992. We paid rack rate, for our room, the first two years, because we didn't know about the room discounts. Since then, we have always had a room discount with either AP or code rates. Keep your eye on these boards or www.mousesavers.com and I would say your chance for a discounted room is excellent.

Thanks Gary! I sure will be on the lookout for codes. I need a deluxe room at the WL in order to sleep 5, and $2000+ for 5 nights is kind of steep. But, I booked at rack rate anyway and any discount will be a great bonus!

I have gone to WDW the past 3 Decembers (2000, 2001, and 2002), and I've gotten a discount of some sort every time. I can't remember the exact percentages from each trip, but I know I saved 40-45% off on my last trip. I wouldn't count on a discount that steep this year, but there's a good chance of getting at least some discount, IMHO.

I compared prices last year when we stayed a night in early December at the Boardwalk Inn before Boardwalk Villas with DVC. I believe the rack was $279, code was $179, AP was $169 (all before tax). I had a code rate at CBR for $84 before they closed for renovations (rack was $135?), I believe the AP rate at the moderates was $79.

You will not get a discount from12/24-1/1/04. That is peak holiday time. Early December is discounted often.
