Code watch for those of us blacked out by free dining!!

We received an email with a pin code and this deal
"all you have to do is choose the deal that’s right for you!
For arrivals most nights 10/3–11/23/10 and 11/28–12/16/10."
free regular service dining for stays moderate and deluxe and free quick service dining for value resorts.....


I thought this was a deal that was out for the general public.....how is that a deal for us?

The general public deal had a a few more weeks blacked out.

I had existing reservations booked since Feb 6th with a 40% pin, but my week is during the black out period that the general pubic offer did not cover, so I was surprised when I rec'd the FD pin covering the black out period

I am sort in same boat. We are going November 9th thru the 16th. I got great air fare rates and times. Also have all my ADR's including Le Cellier, Fantasmic Dinner package and BBB and with a 4 year old who is very excited, I don't want to lose them.

I called about the rumored July 13 pin, and was told it was not linked to my account So I am just hoping for the best, either way, we are going to Disney World!!

I agree we are in the same boat too. Our dates are Dec 6- 15. We thought of changing dates as well, but jet blue would charge us same to switch and the later flight would cost more than the one we have already booked!
So for now we are just waiting a hoping another deal will come out. FD would save us the most cuz we have two kids over 10 so essentially there are 4 adults and one child, but i would take any discount. Right now we are paying full pop.

I received the 20/30/40% off pin good from 7/05-10/07, 10/11-11/23 and 11/28-12/16, so the pins for some of the dates that were blacked out previously are now included. Good luck to everyone hoping for a pin!

I think my CM threw a little pixie dust on me today, because after calling on a daily basis to see if I had a pin code attached to our name, every time, including today, I got the same answer...NO!

I told the CM that I hoped I wasn't being a bother because I had been told to keep calling to check, so that was what I was doing since we were going during the blackout period of October 12-24.

She asked me specifically if I really wanted the free dining and of course I answered absolutely so she asked me to hold. When she came back, she had free dining for me with a savings of aprox. $500.00.

I told her she was amazing and I asked her if she had thrown a little pixie dust my way and she just laughed and said no...and then laughed some more.

So please keep trying. I managed to get free dining without a pin during the blackout period. Good luck!

I think I will call the TA tomorrow and tell her to call and see if there are any pins or FD for our 5 rooms !!!!

We are there 10/14 - 10/18 and would LOVE a pin. We are also blacked out for FD, but a FL Ressie Room Discount would be MUCH appreciated. It will be we can upgrade to POFQ from POP. Right now only good throuth 10/2. Come on Disney!

I also thought about changing dates, but I got all the ADRs I wanted and was not going to give those up. LOL I'm bad - I know, but this is a wedding anniv trip, so we want our grown-up meals.

We are going November 9th thru 19th. I knew that Free Dining was coming, but wasn't expecting the blackouts. I thought about moving our arrival date up to November 12th, but Airtran would charge $540 to change our flights, and we would have to rebook many of our ADRs. It would still save about $400, but I just know that if I went to the trouble, Disney would remove the blackouts, or offer a Room Only Discount that would give me a $400 savings. So, I am waiting it out. I keep hearing that there is a Free Dining Pin being released next week that doesn't have blackouts. Fingers crossed that ALL of us get it!

Turn around clockwise 4x's, hop on your left foot 2x's do 50 pushups while balancing a spoon on your nose.

Who know's I've never received one and have done all the "hints" and possible tricks.

I think there is a PIN Code Fairy , she is related to the TAG Fairy and is just as mysterious and no one knows when she will appear !!!!

I wonder how she did that if you did not have a PIN attached to your name? I thought they had to enter at least a discount code or a PIN#? Hmmm..... Interesting...

We had a 40% PIN, so we upgraded from WL to the Contemporary Tower View room (never stayed in the tower before) & are so excited !!!

I really don't know how I was lucky enough to get this since for sure I did not have a pin. I even called this morning to see what the VG6 stood for and again, I had no pin attached to my name

That's great you received a 40% off discount. That was/is what I was/am hoping for but I am still thrilled with FD for now!

That is awesome, it must be some code they pull out of their CM magic hat.

I had missed the free dining by one day, so I was really excited to have the 40% PIN attached to my name. I still never got an email or anything in the mail from Disney though, I had to call on 07/13 as everyone on here previously stated to do.
