My husband and I and another couple are planning a trip next October. How/when/where do you find codes?? I dont care which resort it's for, right now we're open to all! Someone please help

We are REALLY hoping for a code for Oct. 08 too. We went last year and are going this year to MVMCP but I am DYING to try the Halloween season and party!!!

Codes would make this a reality for SURE!!!!

We will use AAA if necessary, but free dining would be cool....

We went last Oct and the code 40% off hotel came out mid August. We are hoping for one for Oct 2008. It's a great time to go. We stayed at POP this time we will be staying at POR. We are a family of 5, If there is a 40% we might even be tempted to do a Deluxe. But we don't care it's Disney we're happy to be there!

I've been away for some time, but we've decided to do an extended family trip, my sister, mom and our families, 11 of us altogether. I haven't figured out where we'll stay yet, much will depend on codes. Here's hopin'!!!!

this question is for the last few posters: regarding the 40% off hotel... is that for return guests only? (I know I just PM'd you about this but I thought I'd ask here. I'm new. LOL)

Also the free dining: is that offered to return guests only? You sounded fairly confident that it would be offered for Oct.. I sort of understood the free dining to be a september thing? What is everybody else's experience?

It would be awesome if they did free dining in Oct, but I think your right it is a September thing. Also we did get a 40 % off in 2006. Does anyone know what the Oct code rate was this year and when it came out. I haven't really heard. I thought I saw 40% again. But I just wanted to see what rate everyone got for October this year. We are really hoping for a great code for Oct 2008. We will be going Oct 3-11, Can't wait!

We are leaving in a week and I had no idea that I could get a serious discount! I know, I know

Anyway, I am a member of AAA but I thought their codes were just for park tickets. My trip is paid for this year so I don't think they would adjust it if I found a code, would they? And if so where do I find a code? When I made my ressie I just called the number on the Disney web site and booked two rooms at ASMu. I asked if their were discounts and she said "not this early" Do you have to book last minute to get a discount?
I am subscribing to this thread because this board has really given me the fever and I would love to go back next year!

The code we got in 2006 was a 40% off our resort. It didn't count on our dining or tickets, but I was thrilled. I'm not sure what the code was this year. But when I called I told the lady I want to use the "ZBH" code and she looked it up on her computer and did some moving around and we got it. I think they only put a certain number of rooms under each code. So you just have to call and ask. They may have had some people cancel so you never know. Also I 'm sure there is a 2007 Oct code thread on the boards. You might want to start there. Good Luck and have a blast.

thanks for the prompt reply! I'm also considering March and I looked at the mouseavers site "historical discounts" page. Disney has effectively squeezed out any public code for march (as attendance is up so high, I assume). Best of luck for you lucky OCT people though!!!! Have fun planning

Our family of 3 went on our very first trip to WDW in October 06 during fall break, and also attended the MNSSHP. I booked the trip through a local travel agent, who offered the very same price the WDW web site offered. Sorry for probably an obvious question, but how do you find out about the discount codes? I know we just joined AAA, so that's an option. We would like to stay in POR again. I absolutely can't wait for another Disney trip!!! Thanks for any adivce.
