Code Question

Question since I"m new to this and planning my first onsite vacation:

Are these codes generic or is it a one time use??? When you say "code watch" is it because someone is going to post the code and then everyone can use it??? HOw do you get this code??? How can I get one!!!!!!!!!!

We are going in March.
