WOW! Thank you soooo much for posting! We are traveling to Colombus, OH for my niece's wedding and needed a minivan while in town. All the codes I've been checking weren't giving me anything better than $49/day plus all the taxes and fees. With your code, I was able to book a minivan for our 3 days for only $35/day plus taxes and fees. And since it's Dollar, there's a 2hr grace period on returning the car on day #3 before I get charged for any portion of that day. So I only have to pay for a 2day rental w/ them, that other companies were charging me 3 days!!!!

Thanks for posting. That is a great rate. Unfortunately, my dates fall into the blackout period. I keep searching! Then I tried using the Dollar site directly, and it told me it was unable to give me rate information at this time.

I tried my dates for our Disney trip coming into Tampa, our dates 8/18 - 8/26. Although a decent rate, my rate through Alamo is much better.

Dollar est. charges $396.99
Alamo est. charges $315.59

My goal is to get my rate under $300. I still have 2 months to do it.

I just booked through Thrifty directly with a van for 10 days for $307. I didn't go through SWA as I had to provide a credit card. I was able to book through Thrifty and can change or cancel at any time if the rates change. Thanks for the info though.

They don't charge your credit card until after you return the car.
