Code for fairfx Card

Hiya all

After much deliberating (we usually take cash and travellers chqs), i think i have finally decided to go for a Fairfx card for my hols, not use it in the shops but just to draw out money.

So just wondered (not that i am tight ) if anyone knew where i could find a code so i could apply for a card without having to pay the £10.00(?) charge for setting up an account?

Remember there is a small charge for withdrawals but not for card purchases so if you are drawing money, try and do a few larger withdrawals, rather than several smaller transactions which will rack up the costs.

Also don't forget to go through Quidco for cashback They used to offer £7.50 as I got cashback for both mine and my boyfriend's but just checked and they've put it down to £5. Better than nothing still! Also it's free through Quidco

This might sound strange but I've never even had the option to pay for a FairFX card. Just tried to do a dummy sign-up simply by typing in the url itself and it still says free. That's always happened for me but I know it's supposed to be £9.95.

If you have a Matalan card you can get the Fairfx card free through a link from the Matalan website, be careful filling in the form tho, DH applied for his card & it arrived with his name as Miss Kevin!

He emailed them to say it was wrong and they said there was a $12 charge to change it as he'd told them he was a Miss, obviously a slip of the mouse and needless to say we're not that bothered and just hope that he doesn't have trouble using it.

dont think matalan has the link on their website anymore, i looked for it before posting about the dibb
