Code for Contemporary Resort???

We went October 2006 and got a great code for POP. I think it was 40%. We are planning a trip for Oct 2008. We were thinking we would probably stay at either POP 2 rooms or more likey POR. But I was wondering what kind of deal people have gotten at the Contemporary? That would be a place we would LOVE to stay. Of course we could only swing it with a code. So if anyone has gotten a code could you tell me what you saved and maybe give me a little hope. Thanks!

I haven't stayed at the Contemporary since 2005, but we found the best rate by staying in the garden wing on an AP code for about $200/night. Of course, you have to buy one adult AP. We originally were going to take 2 trips on the AP, but plans change.

I think you're lucky you got a code! We never have. We have stayed at the Contemporary once on an AP rate, but it seems to have gone up even more in price. It has a great location and part of the resort is under some kind of construction meaning less rooms. I think those two things help explain the higher cost. I would book what you can afford and if you get a code or special rate then you can rebook. There is no guarantee of discounted rooms.
