Code confusion

Ok, here's my deal: I will be making reservations soon for our May of "06 trip, for a FW campsite. I want to make them now so we have a better chance of getting what we want, and so I can pay it off over the next year. I will likely make the resv. with my AAA discount. I know some of the real deep-discount codes don't come out until almost the last minute - I don't want to wait that long to make the resv., but can you change your rate with the new codes when they become available, or are they really designed to get people to book last-minute?

Seems like most of the codes come out about 2 months ahead - give or take. You can apply codes to your existing reservations if there are rooms available at the discounted rate when you call to apply the rate. Keep in mind that there aren't always discounts and there aren't always discounts for all types of rooms.

You are wise to book what you want and can afford and if a code is available, then GREAT!!! Otherwise, you have your room, and you are all set. (You can always cancel if no codes are available when you want to travel.)

Yeah, you're right...this makes the most sense. The AAA discount isn't too shabby, and we should get a pretty good rate on our campsite. It's more important that we HAVE the campsite! But hey, Disney being what they are, anywhere you can save a few $$ is helpful!
