We are doing a quick trip at the end of December. My DD loves the beach. Is it too cold to take a day trip over to Cocoa Beach this time of year?

To swim in the ocean? Yes, unless you're from Canada or Michigan and think 67 (today's water temp at the Cocoa Beach pier) is warm.

No,I live here on the barrier island in Indialantic. It can be in the high eighties on Xmas day. our cold snapps come from Feb. through April for a few days only. You might not consider them cold, it’s all relative.

Current forecast (which can change) shows end of December in the 60s in CB. And those are the highs.

Depends on why you like the beach. It’s chilly for swimming, but I prefer the cooler weather for walking on the beach, or just sitting watching the waves.

It depends on the year. Sometimes it’s warm and other times it’s cold. We had temps in the 80s just a few days ago and they’re predicting Christmas Day to only have a high of 59. It’s going to be COLD with the humidity.
