What your favorite Cocoa Beach hotels that is riight on the ocaean? Thanks

We stayed at the Doubletree and it had its own beach access and a nice pool area. Was surprised that the room had a large refrigerator too!

We've only stayed one night before our Disney cruise - in the Four Points by Sheraton. It was nice - connected to the surf shop, and the room was a nice little suite, so my kids didn't have to share a bed.

We didn't spend much time, just ate dinner in the hotel restaurant and hung out with our friends. We weren't thrilled with the area really - kind of dumpy. For a night before a cruise, it was fine. I don't know about for a real vacation at this place, though.

http://www.parkingstay.com has a little chart for each hotel telling you which restaurants / grocery stores, etc are walking distance. Click the little blue walking man icon next to each hotel.

I know the LaQuinta on Hendry is on the beach (with balconies) and is within walking distance of restaurants. There may be a few others.
