Cocoa Beach beach front hotels? Any recommendations?

Hi all ~ Since Cocoa Beach is the closest beach to WDW, we are interested in staying there next time. Can anyone recommend a beach front hotel with a view and pool? Thanks! Sandra

I'm jumping on your thread...hope you don't mind. I'm interested too, since my parents and grandparents want to stay on the coast while we do WDW before our cruise in Jan.

Love Cocoa Beach but have yet to find a good reasonable place to stay.

We stayed at Comfort Inn before our cruise last year and I was not impressed. I stay at Comfort Inns quite a bit and was dissapointed. It was within walking distance to the beach but besides that very run down and ugly.

I really like 4 Points Sheraton and or the Radisson but both of those were too much $$$ for us. Of course Ron Jons Resort or the other one with the water park...Cocoa Beach Caribe or something is the way to go but that is even more $$. Ron Jons is supposed to be great.

This year for the cruise we are staying at WDW and will just get up early and drive to the port...but I am still looking for something in Cocoa if I can find it at a good price.

There are quite a few vacation homes for rent and if I was going for more than a week I think I would do that option. Condos on the beach for less than $1,000 for the week.

We really like Vero, it is a bit further...just over 2 hours but it was great. As a DVC member we stayed at the Disney resort and look forwad to going back next year. Disney on the beach...can you beat that?
