Has anyone been? It appears that there are many locations through out the US. One just opened near me. For one night/two days, it is $130 and includes breakfast for four as well as waterpark tickets for four. Seems like a fun getaway for a weekend!!!
One just opened about 45 minutes from me!!! I am not close to the Great Wolf Lodge so I am excited that there is one near me!!!! Seems to be similiar but with a tropical theme.

The one near us has been closed a few times due to poor water quality/over chlorination that caused skin burns/rashes.

The one near us in Danvers MA has been closed several times as well because of water quality. We went once before they were having issues and I have to say it was not very clean as far food on the floors, bandaids in the water and the restrooms were just plain yucky! There have been a lot of complaints about this place but I think the may be under new mangement so things may improve!

Our experiences here have been good. The rates were good when they opened, but are outrageous now. The kids LOVED it and we had fun too. Great "getaway" in town for a cheaper vacation.

looks like both those bad reviews were in the same area...I'd say dont let that concern you unless you are there :) The one a few miles from us is quite well run, clean, safe, etc.

We have been to a few indoor water parks...it is one of the smaller ones, but still kept everyone entertained.

Check out Great wolf lodge. We didn;t care for the coco key, it was dirty. But we go to great wolf every year. We love it!!

My kids went to the one in Danvers MA on Rosh Hoshana and loved it. I wasn't there so I can't comment on the cleanliness but there wasn't anything so bad that my kids mentioned it (and they do tell me when I place is "gross").

I am also in CT and was excited to see something like that open up in this area! There is only so much mini-golf I can take on the weekends. It will be nice to have something else to do for a change! We haven't tried it yet but after a few weeks of cold weather, we'll be more than ready to give it a try. The nice thing about Coco Key is that you can purchase day passes without having to stay overnight at the hotel (unlike Great Wolf Lodge), which will make it an even cheaper getaway! We love Great Wolf Lodge, but it can get pricey.

Danvers folks don't forget about the hotel worker from there that was charged with child porn.
I don't recall if he worked in the water park, but he did work at that sheraton.

We have one under two hours from here and my DD has been with some friends for a birthday celebration. She loved it and had a great time and I know that my friend who took her has high standards and said it was great (cleanliness, etc. included). We just got $15 day rate coupons for on-line tickets in the mail, and I know there are internet specials on-line. I was hoping to use it on Halloween since my kids have off of school. DD(11) said my DS13 may be a little at the top of age range it is for, (he likes a little more daring) but he enjoys being with us as a family.
Trip Advisor ususally has reviews and personal photos, check it out there!
Have fun!
