She's awesome, but I'm a bit leery of anyone labelled the "next big thing" in tennis. Too many have burned hot early and then flamed out. Remember Melanie Oudin? She made the 4th round at Wimbledon as a teenage qualifier and then she petered out. It happens to too many, both men and women. Whether it's injuries or the pressure of success at a young age. If Gauff is still around in a few years, then we can talk about her being the next big thing. Good for her, but one tournament does not make a career.

Coco advances to the 3rd round of the US Open. Now she faces Osaka, can't wait for that match. Not expecting her to win but she will give it her all.
