Coco beach & KSC

Can anyone tell me how far Coco Beach is from KSC and if we can do both in one day. I was thinking of going to the beach in the morning for a couple of hours and then going to KSC around noon or so.

We stayed in Cocoa Beach a couple of weeks ago and the drive to KSC took us about 15 minutes. It depends on your interest in all there is to see at the space center but we were there when it opened at 9:00 am and stayed until closing. There is a LOT to see there!

IMHO, I would plan KSC for an entire day.

You definately need a whole day for KSC! maybe make it at the beginning of the trip and stay in one of the Cocoa Beach hotels, then hit the beach the next AM before going over to Disney.
