Cocktail/Punch Recipes

I'm hosting a party at my home this week w/ a bunch of girlfriends.

I'm looking for a quick & easy Alcholic Punch recipe. I don't really want to stand around playing bartender all night, so I wanted to find something I could make early & set out for them.


Any favorites?

Malibu Baybreeze? So yummy!!! It's just cranberry juice, pineapple juice and Malibu (coconut) rum. You can make a huge pitcher or punch bowl of it.

Mmmmm - I happen to have Coconut Rum already. Sounds good.

Add Comments Scale ingredients to servings
7 cups water
3 cups bourbon whiskey
12 oz frozen lemonade
6 oz frozen orange juice
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 cups strong tea



Mix all ingredients a day ahead and place in freezer. When ready to serve, take out of freezer and put desired amount in blender for a second or put in a bowl and mix till it is semi-liquified. Serve in old-fashioned glasses.

Pyrate Punch:

One bottle of Pyrate Rum and various juices to taste:

Passionfruit, cranberry, orange juice. Add grenadine to taste.





Or, if you are in the mood, vodka and Kool-Aid work very well.

My favourite drink... you can just make a pitcher of it. Watermelon vodka (I don't know if any company but Smirnoff makes it) and pink lemonade (yellow works too, but pink is prettier). No real recipe... I'd just do maybe a little over half of the pitcher with lemonade, and then pour the vodka in; it mixes itself.

1/2 pint vodka
1 can frozen lemonade
1 can water
1 48 oz can unsweetened pineapple juice
12 oz apricot nectar
1 bottle champagne (we use Brut)


This is so good but obviously gets pricey if you don't already have some of the items on hand. It is so easy and tasty but packs a punch. Make sure you buy enough for a double batch.

I don't like rum or pineapple (except in certain drinks), but that sounds delicious. Apricot! I've never seen apricot used in a drink before, except a beer called Dogfish Head Aprihop. And I do love champagne.

Definitely sangria. This is the one I make. I play around with the recipe a little and make it the day before. It's always a hit.
