Coca Cola Pins Tradeable???

[JUST STARTING]

We will be taking our DD7, DS2 and DN7 to Disney in May. This is our first trip and I don't know much about pin trading but I know the kids would love it. I'm trying to buy some pins for them to trade. I came accross some 15th Anniversary Coca-Cola pins but I'm not sure if they would be good traders. I don't want to waste my money on something the kids can't trade . What do you experts think?

Some of them are very high value pins. Be careful what you trade for.

You might want to go to www.pinpics.com and do a search on "coca cola" and limit to WDW and limited edition. The site does not give price values, but you will see within each description fields for members wanting and members trading. As a general rule the higher the ratio the higher the value.

Yes, you may not want to use those for lanyard trading pins. But on the other hand as long as you walk away with what makes you happy...
And if they don't cost much, you are doing well. Many people don't spend much on pins for kids, due to they may be lost, etc. (Not that adults don't lose pins! )
You can even post what you have on the Trades board and see what you get offered in return. I may even be interested. I collect Coke pins.
I try to put on lanyards what I would not mind taking off (if I did not have the pin).

I have always thought pin trading is good fun for the family. And it is great for shy people. It helps coax them out of their shell.

So long as it has the Disney copyright on the back, you can trade it in the parks with the CMs (there are some non-Disney Coke pins) .....but the point of the prior respondents was you could be trading away something very valuable (to collectors) for something far less valuable.
