Hi All,
Someone mentioned to me that there is a spot in Epcot where we can sample Coke from other countries. I've never heard this before and am not sure of any specifics.
Anyone hear of this?
Thanks,

Yes it is called Ice Station Cool, it looks like a big iceberg.
It is located near Innoventions West.

Yes - the name is completely escaping me, but it is in towards the center of Future World. If you aer walking towards World Showcase it will be on your right. Look for an igloo. You walk into a cold igloo-like sttucture and end up in a store showcasing coke products. There is an area where you can try different types of soda's from around the world. All different types of beverages but nothing that even remotely reminded me of a traditional "cola" type beverage.

We like the ginger ale. Also the fact that you can sample as many as you like.::yes::

Oooh, I'm so glad I took the kids to that place. Picture this: my kids have never had soda before and I tell them they can try it at DisneyWorld. WooHoo...they all hated it, I'm sure they'll never ask for soda for a long time, lol. I can still hear my ds6 who tried the ginger ale on the far right side of the machine "it's stinging my tongue! I need some water to wash it off" LOL :teeth:

So....enjoy ;)

kimkammom,

If I don't tell you, someone else will. When you're at Ice Station Cool, you MUST try the Beverly, an Italian Coca Cola product. It may be the highlight of your trip!

I love Ice Station cool! Where else can you get free soda at WDW? My favs are the fruit drink from Japan and the watermelon soda from China.

EVIL!!!!!!::yes:: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :laughing:

We were just there in February and it was the first time my dh tasted soda. The ginger ale was the only soda that any of us could tolerate. A few years ago I visited the Coca Cola museum in Atlanta, GA and they at least had some of the more familiar varieties to taste. The Leche Nut soft drink is probably worse than most cough medication. Unless you know and like the taste of a leche nut, I suggest to stay very far away from that flavor!!! :(

My DH and I loved going here and trying the different sodas. We are going in January with our 2 year old adopted daughter from China and are going to let her try the soda from China to see what her reaction is.

At the entrance (outside) several have mentioned the iceberg - there is also a snowplow sitting there - look at the "snow" under the snowplow treads - it makes the design of coke bottles in the snow. :)

It's a small place - don't expect alot of bells and whistles - the fun is tasting all the different beverages Cokes makes.

Just ask if you can't locate the place.

We stopped by Ice Station Cool this afternoon on our way out of the park. There was no snow today. Many of the drink stations were covered with out of order signs. All the Veggie Betas from Japan were covered on all the stations as out of order. Sure hope the same thing doesn't happen with that as did with the Mexico Apple drink. I sure miss that flavor! I enjoyed the gingerale and the watermelon!! My dh likes the Israel one the best! As for the Beverly from Italy...my ds(10) is the only person I know who can drink that with a straight face, and say ummm, to some poor unsuspecting person...who tries it after him.

DD and DS wouldn't try the Beverly, no matter how much I coaxed them! LOL! This is a fun place to go - not a big thrill - but nice and cool on a hot day.

I agree with AngieBelle - Japan and the watermelon soda are the best.

Everybody I know that has tried these told me they are all pretty nasty. I have been scared to try them.

They were all so gross I was gagging. I begged for "the real thing" but they didn't have any ! :p

This place rocks. Very cool and refreshing. Me and DW loved the watermellon drink. Yummy. Oh and try the Beverly.

What boggles my mind is that people actually drink the stuff that comes out of those machines! ::MickeyMo

My kids love the watermelon soda. My personal favorite is the Mezzo Mix from Germany.
