Coast to Coast Challenge

Hi Everyone!

The Goofy marathon was so much fun. Although the second half of the full was very challenging (heat and all), I loved it!

I had heard about the Coast to Coast challenge. I thought that that would be fun and I'd love to go to Disneyland.

Does this weekend count towards that race, or does it need to be the princess half?

Yes the if you participate in the WDW full or half marathon and you then do the Disneyland half you will get the coast to coast medal.

If it's handled the same way as last year, you won't need to do anything special. Your name is matched up in the Active database. You will need to sign up with the same name, same birthdate, maybe same address, etc. However, this year might be different.

When you get to the expo, you'll be given a special armband to wear. When you finish the half, you'll trade that armband for the special medal. It is awesome!!!!!!! It's one of my favorite medals.

Congrats to everyone who ran this weekend. The last half of the full was challenging but I was up for it, loved every minute of it and can't wait to feel that feeling again !

I'm definitely going for the bling this year and participating in the coast to coast challenge. I'm running the Disneyland 1/2 Labor Day weekend.

That's my ultimate goal to get the coast to coast bling! I was looking at 2013 because the Mickey medal will be the 20th anniversary, but I don't think I can wait that long!

I'm going for it this year! Next year hope thi tr the Full at WDW. Goal Full before 50 (years) and I don't have much time.

OT Monte The skiing was great at Copper the week of Christmas-loved the reindeer and Santa neat the American Eagle lift.

Great picture Joan and I love the hat! Isn't Santa and his reindeer awesome? I don't recall a reindeer being up there before, but you never know.
