Coach Purses at Target!

Has anyone seen these yet? My hubby works for target and told me that one of the local stores has them in stock so i took a ride over there tonight. none of them really floated my boat, well.... except for the $339.00 one! They are also selling Dooney and Bourke but they didn't have any for me to see in stock.

I posted about this yesterday. I saw D&B purses at my local Target. I couldn't believe it.

Someone sent me a pm asking which Target I saw them at. According to the poster, Target doesn't have the rights to sell D&B purses. You all better go and buy them before they get pulled.

I don't think I want a Coach bag from Target. It's just not the same as going to a Coach store & being treated like royalty. I get thank you & holiday cards from my saleslady.

I can. It happens all the time. Some major retailers have even unknowingly sold counterfeit trademark items.

Many times a stores parent company will have the license to sell a brand through another of their entities. I don't think Target, which used to be Dayton Hudson, owns other stores anymore though.

I cannot imagine why Coach and/or Dooney would degrade their product name by selling it at a discount department store. It doesn't make any sense. Their other retailers won't be happy.

I can assure you that Target would not be selling counterfeit designer purses. They can't be that stupid. I would like to know if they are priced the same as a dept store though? Or are they marked down like at TJ Maxx? So that begs the question... do you think TJ Maxx sells counterfeit too? I don't think so. They come with registration, etc just clearance/out of season selections.

Well it looks like they have degraded their product. Geesh how awful.

I think that I'll go to nasty old Target and check them out this weekend.
