How much can I expect to spend on a tote at the Coach outlet? Ballpark price would be fine. Thank you! :)

Thank you! :thumbsup2 I never even knew they had a website!!

Not sure if coach runs it but I do check it before heading out to the coach outlet. I have one in Atlantic City and the prices on this site seem to come clsoe to what I find in the outlet store.

I am in Vineland and I usually go to Atlantic City, too for my Coach bags!! I will just have to take a ride......not too much on the outlet site, but I appreciate the link!!

Yes, thank you for the website. I will definitely have to go check this out. Went by there during my last trip to Orlando and can kick myself for not taking advantage of the prices.

Here's a link to the a coach factory outlet store on line.

Not sure if this is "coach" sanction but it may give you a ball park, although the outlets some times have stuff not expected.

From a quick look those are not "authenic" Coach bags. They look like "knock offs". There isn't anything on that sight that says "authenic". Be careful! I get a Coach bag every year when I go to the Premium outlets. and very rarely pay more than a $100.00 for a $300-350.00 purse. They have 50% off tables and coupons for an extra 10-30-% off. This year I got an awesome tote fo $87.00 I love it.

I agree. The prices on the tags at the outlet are not as low as on that website, for sure. However, there is ALWAYS an additional sale going on that really brings the price down.

Also, if you are picky (and there isn't a need to be picky, if you don't want to) Coach has items they carry in store, and items that they make for their outlet. Coach affeciandos know the brand well enough to know if you are carrying a "Coach Retail" purse or a "Coach Outlet" purse. Their retail stuff will show up in the outlets, too - so you need to know the brand to get the best deal. And many people feel the product made specifically for the outlets is not as well made.

Just to be aware - I'm not a brand snob and am more likely to carry a purse from Target myself - but some people have been disappointed to buy something from an outlet and then have someone recognize it as outlet product.

I just got an email today about a sale going on this week. It is online only and you have to get an email invitation. Not sure if you can still sign up on their site or not.

i ran into the website a few months ago.. its not real.
i reported it to coach. they informed me there is no online outlet store

We have an outlet here- I love it! You should expect to pay between $150-$200 for a "tote" style bag, if I recall correctly - I usually buy smaller bags, and they run $90-$120. Wristlets are $39.99 with their 20% coupon, so $32. Wallets are around $79 or so.

There is outlet specific merchandise, but the outlets also carry store items, either overstock, discontinued, or the motherlode of savings, the *damaged* item - those are usually outlet priced, which is roughly half of retail, minus an additional 30% or more. They may have small watermarks, or other damage -but nothing that affects the integrity or the appearance (you have to search for the damage, sometimes) the bag.

An interesting thing I learned recently - if the item has a dust bag, it's a made for retail item. Made for outlet stuff doesn't come with dustbags.

We have an outlet here too and our prices are about the same. I have reg. store Coach bags and outlet store Coach bags. Actually, I have enough where my DH says I can open up my own store. :rotfl: To be honest, I wouldn't worry about the outlet ones being disappointing. I have bought dozens from both types of places and have never been disappointed.

I was at the Lake George outlet last month and they had some amazing deals. It was an extra 50% off their clearance plus they were giving out 20% off coupons. I got two bags for a little over $100 (neither were totes though).

We ship your order as soon as possible, top convenient for your business. Please feel free to buy them.

:rotfl2:

The email I got from Coach about the big sale was for coachfactory.com. This is a legitimate site, but they are only doing this sale online. They don't normally sell online and if you go to the site right now it says it is closed.

Thank you for all of the interesting info. I expect to pay $150 or so for a tote. Thanks again!
