I've got some! But I think I've told them before....oh well, it's fun to tell them.
Once, I was working in the shop in the Tomorrowland arcade. There was a mother with her son in a stroller hanging around. The kid was obviously not a happy camper. His mom explained that he was upset because he was too short to ride Space Mountain. I sat on the floor next to him and started chatting with him, and soon he was cheerful again, getting all into talking about what he had done that day, saying "and you know what...and you known what..." His mom ended up taking a picture of me with him!
Another time, it was a slow, boring E-ride night working at the cart near Buzz Lightyear. Two girls, about 10 and 4, were hanging around with their mother and we started talking. They were the sweetest, silliest kids! The little one sang some cute songs she had learned in school. The older one cracked me up when she took down one of the toy Woodys, put him on her shoulder, and started singing "Mr. Woody on my shoulder!" (tune of zip id e do dah) Before they left, the mother thanked me for putting up with them, but I told her I was glad for the company.
As a castmember, there's a special phone number we can call to get Goofy to say "happy birthday" to a guest over the phone. I remember this one little three year old girl with a mound of long curls. I found out it was her birthday and brought the phone over telling her she had a call. She was soooo excited! just bouncing everywhere. hehehe.
I can make a puppet creature with my hands, and at the parks, I loved showing it to the little kids. I ended up teaching several parents how to do it. hehe. I also loved to hold a plush character and make them wave to everyone, or passing out Mickey stickers and getting requests even from big kids.
One time, I was sitting on the floor restocking some jewelery right before we closed, and a little girl I had given a sticker to a little earlier came over to me, said bye, and gave me a completely unexpected hug! That made my day.
A lady in a wheel chair came over to the counter in the store and asked if I had any tissues because her daughter had been suffering from a terrible cold all day. I offered her some from the klenex box we always keep behind the counter. She asked if she could keep the box. It's actually for CMs, but I figured what the heck, and let her take it. She and her daughter were so happy.
