CM's PLEASE HELP with this week's EMH hours!! ANOTHER change?

I thought I had it all figured out for this upcoming week (Mon-Thu, Jan 17-20). Finally as of early last week this site, allears, and the official Disney site all agreed. (Mon Epcot AM, Tue MGM AM, Tue MK PM, Wed Epcot PM, Thu MGM PM) Now that I'm getting within 24 hours, I'm checking last minute and am finding total changes:

Steve Soares' site shows Epcot as open late on Thursday (like the previous 2 weeks) instead of Wednesday. He also doesn't show any EMH for MGM, but I'm assuming this is just an oversight.

Allears is suddenly showing the same schedule for this week as the previous 2 weeks. This means Epcot Thursday too (like Steve's), but also showing AK on Tuesday and MK on Wednesday. Steve's doesn't show these two.

This site (wdwinfo) and the official site still show what I said first above.

Any CM's out there who can help me with their official Portal info? PLEASE!!!

I just checked and our schedule is still good.

Just got off the phone with Guest Services and they insist their website is incorrect and the new schedule is:

Tues MGM AM/ AK PM
Wed MK PM
Thu Epcot PM

as opposed to what this site shows.

Where are you checking WebmasterRegina?

February's Spectro and Wishes schedules have changed on Disney's site again also.

Okay, talked to the higher ups at Disney, who called the parks directly and confirmed the actual CM schedules, which they now say are:

Tue AM MGM, PM MK
Wed PM Epcot
Thu PM MGM

(Totally different from what the other person told us on the phone). But:

Emailed Steve Soares and he emailed back and insists that the Thursday night is correct for Epcot. I'M SO CONFUSED!!!!

Me, too! This just seems terribly chaotic and disorganized! Can't they set the hours for a month at a time, at least? Are my expectations too high? I am paying a lot of money, taking my kids out of school, spending huge amounts of time palnning, not to mention the time there. I guess I expect Disney to be reliable. Isn't that one of their claims to fame? You always know what to expect, which is great service and attention to detail. How am I supposed to make my all-important (so I'm told) PSs if I don't even know where we will be! And then, to top it off, there is construction everywhere and multiple attractions closed. I know we will still have a great time, but right now it's getting kinda stressful!

What I'm most frustrated about is that my husband bought his convention (after 2pm) tickets based on their official schedule of MK Tuesday evening (until 10) and Epcot Wednesday evening (until midnight). He will be done Tuesday around 5:30, so could get to the MK by 6 and have 4 hours. Similarly on Wednesday he has a company dinner at 7 - probably until about 8:30, and thought he could get to Epcot by 9 and still have 3 (hopefully uncrowded) hours to at least ride Test Track and Mission Space.

If it's the other schedule with AK Tuesday, then it's only open until 8, he'll get there around 6 and only have maybe 2 hours and not really much open anyway, even less that he wants to do (really Primeval Whirl is the only ride that would be open that he could do - I think he'd miss most shows by then and Safari and Kali aren't open at this time of year). And on Wednesday, by the time he got to MK at 9, if he could even get in, he'd only have an hour.

When Guest Relations insisted it was now the second schedule, he asked them what he could do with the ticket since he wouldn't be able to use it now and they basically said "tough". So we're really hoping the first schedule is right!

I just called the front desk at Saratoga Springs to check since we plan on heading over to AK tomorrow after our flight gets in and wanted to make sure that its still the EMH park. The Cm from teh front dwesk looked things up and his schedule is showing AK tomorrow, Epcot Monday AM, MGM Tues Am, MK Tues PM, Epcot Weds PM, MGM Thurs PM, MK Friday AM.

Thanks - I'm feeling more comforted that it hasn't changed and that allears changed theirs for some strange reason. Steve Soares emailed me back saying his info comes from a CM, but he can't guarantee how correct it is and if he keeps having trouble with the EMH's (which seems likely based on how it's going!), that he may just remove that from his site entirely.

I did check again on our dates and they haven't changed, or should I say they haven't yet. That would sure throw a monkey wrench in my plans. We'll only be there 4 1/2 park days and have the schedule worked out so I hope it stays the same. Disney doesn't seem to reward the planners, do they?

just got back a few hours ago and took a schedule with me from okw. sunday 1/16 ak 5pm-8pm,mon epcot 8am-9am, tue. mgm 8 am-9am tue.night mk 7-10pm , wed. epcot 9pm-12am , thu. mgm 7pm-10pm, fri mk 8am-9am, sat.ak 8am-9am. that the schedule for the week of1/16 to 1/22. for people staying at a disney resort. i hope this helps some body out.

Looks like I may be changing plans, too. I thought AK was for Tues night. I'm glad I didn't start planning until yesterday or I'd be going crazy!

I sent a note to Deb at Allears to see what's up with her schedule. I'll let you know as soon as I hear something.

Just got a response from Allears. Unfortunately, it doesn't confirm what others have posted. I guess at this point it's 'plan at your own risk'.

As far as we can confirm through trusted sources, our site is correct and the disneyworld.com
site is in error, but we always suggest you call Disney directly the day before your trip to
verify all information. Call 10407-824-4500.

Just got back from 1/9-1/15/05. We went to the front desk at OKW at 12:30am in order to get boarding passes printed for our return flight that was leaving at 11:30 am. The CM was just putting out the new guides for park hours Jan16-22 2005. We took one and I am looking at it right now.

Sunday 1/16-Animal Kingdom 5pm-8pm
Mon 1/17-Epcot 8am-9am
Tues 1/18-MGM 8am-9am and MK 7pm-10pm
Wed-1/19-Epcot 9pm-12am
Thur 1/20-MGM-7pm-10pm
Fri 1/21-MK 8am-9am
Sat 1/22-AK 8am-9am

Now if this is incorrect than there is going to be a whole lot of trouble in the parks, because these are put out on Sat in all the parks and in all the resorts. Hope this helps. Have fun those of you on your way, we sure did!!!
