I'm so happy the preds won, well worth staying up late for. Now bring on Tuesday
Go Preds, what a game! With three over times and the late start time, I am just now recovering. It was close to 2am when we got home from the game this morning.Won both home games at Nashville, but jesus what is sleep right now...
It is easy to get the puck in the goal when you hold it in your hand while pushing the goalie out if the way first. Good call.Sharks got screwed. That was a fricking GOAL.
No, the goal was off his stick after he dropped the puck. But that was after he had interfered with Rinne by taking him out of the goal and preventing him from defending the goal. Toronto looked at that one for a long time and agreed - no goal. You think that goal was disallowed because it went in off his hand? Wow - they disallowed the goal because of the goalie contact. Yeah - the contact that happened when he was pushed into Rinne by Gaustad. It was a good goal. Period.
Nobody really understands the rule. Different commentators have come to different conclusions about whether or not the goal should have counted.

In any case, there was no penalty for cross-checking or tripping Pavelski on that play - the two actions that led to his loss of control. At another time a Predators player covered up the puck in the crease. That should have been a penalty shot.
It was a poorly officiated game in any case.
The difference in your links are they are not from a former referee who broke the call down very well.
