Hope everyone is great!!! I just returned from a wonderful mini vacation to the desert (by the Colorado River) and visited my family for Easter! It was 95 degrees!!!!

I like Brady - think he does a good job for us Dis freaks. Vickie's and my annual passes expire in May, So if we don't go to Orlando in April we may try to get a third annual pass trip to Disneyland before they expire. We'll definitely call you!

Hey everyone, now that things are calming back down...I've got time to get over here and chat again. What a crazy few weeks...and now we wait again. I got the email from Brady as well, I think he was just fishing for info. I can say at this point I've heard nothing. If it gets to be wednesday and STILL nothing I'll get concerned. Hi Amy Kate! I am laughing my head off at your story about your daughter not wanting to wear the campaign shirt anymore! Maybe our children can be email pen pals...it will be like therapy for them to discuss everything they went through while their mother's campaigned for CMO!

My daughters probably voted for me about 30 times each...total...over three weeks! I decided it wasn't very "magical" to force them to vote (hee hee...and I truly believe all CMO candidates should adhere to child labor laws); so I left it completely up to them. They definitely preferred Webkinz and Shining Stars (and of course the Playhouse Disney website!) over DreamCMO!

Thanks for sharing all the fun you've been having, too. Yes, isn't everyone so sweet about this? It's kind of funny to get the same question asked everywhere you go...."Did you make the top 3?" Followed by "I voted for you!" During the campaign I would reply, "How many times?" Now it's nice just say "Thank You!" I know you and the rest of the top 10 can relate.

I must give my children some kudos, though. They DID pass out campaign cards on the playground, at the doughnut table after church and at the big Easter egg hunt we attended. They were definitely three good little campaign managers!

Sounds like you all worked really hard. My little one couldn't vote, she has trouble distinguishing the lowecase from the capital letters on the keyboard and the "secret code" screen.
I had the worst luck with all of the media here in LA. The LA times had so many hoops to jump through just to fax a press release. The TV news did not even consider this frivolous news. and the radio stations were even less welcoming, including Radio Disney. Radio stations tended to re-route my call to a headquarters in another state. It was very frustrating. So, I took it to the streets, where most everyone was super receptive.
Interesting that many of the Disneyland Cast Members had not even heard about the dream job. Some had, they said that it was playing on monitors backstage. All Cast members that I met said that they would vote for me. They were very supportive!

Morning! I just finished half of this weeks mix show and am still putting together my brother-in-laws wedding. I am having to do some major digging for music to satisfy their taste. I have to have everything done by tomorrow because the wedding is on Friday!!! Just wanted to pop in and say hello before the day once again gets very hectic... PS - I think my 2 year old might have pink eye.

We had a great time in your fair town. We went to the local park where my friend Gordon and his Air Force "We Care Team" built an awesome play fort. It's right in front of the Zoo. We also really enjoyed the old school Drive-in Movie. We saw Horton which shoulda been called "Horton hears a hoot!" It was a great movie. We ate at Red Robin, which was a great burger too.
