....The parks were fantastic after the Thanksgiving weekend until about Dec 4, walked on to most of the rides with a max wait of 15mins on EE and BTM.
We want to do it again this year also.

Well, you certainly gave him a hardcore cheering section, and, again, for what it is worth, you deserved more from him (imho).

The video was all any of us had to enter the competition though........so you would be WOWED by my love of Disney that was beyond my video but I really tried to convey that love IN my video!

Wish I would have made Top 10, with the type of backing you give, someone would be sure to go on. You are a real fan BTM

How will we be able to view and vote for the "Grand Prize Video Application" from April 14th through April 22nd, if the finalists will not even BE at the World until April 16th???


FROM THE OFFICIAL RULES:

Three (3) Finalist Prizes: Each Finalist Prize is a trip for the Finalist Prize Winner and up to three (3) Guests to Walt Disney World ® Resort near Orlando, Florida from April 16 - 22, 2008...........

The Grand Prize Application Process will require each Finalist Prize Winner to perform specific tasks, as designated by Disney Destinations, at the Walt Disney World® Resort and each Finalist Prize Winner will be videotaped and photographed performing such tasks (collectively, "Grand Prize Video Application")..............

Grand Prize Voting Period: Individuals who go to http://www.dreamcmo.com between 12:00 a.m. ET on April 14, 2008 and 11:59:59 PM ET on April 21, 2008, ("Grand Prize Voting Period") will be asked to view the three (3) Grand Prize Video Applications and vote for their favorite. The Finalist Prize Winner who receives the highest number of votes during the Grand Prize Voting Period will be deemed the Grand Prize Winner............

The Grand Prize Winner will be announced in a ceremony at the Walt Disney World® Resort on April 22, 2008 and will be offered the job of CMO, a part time employee of Disney Destinations expected to work between 12 and 32 days during the Employment Period (as hereinafter defined).

Yep, that's part of what I meant when I said the rules needed a good technical editor!

Either we ARE gonna vote for their performance at WDW, or we AREN'T because we'll be voting for original video. Which is it?

I've just finished reading "Be Our Guest" by the Disney Institute. I think that Careerbuilder.com and Disney Destinations need to not only read the book about the Disney service philosophy, but perhaps they could get a discount to take one of the Disney Institute classes offered.

I continue to question who is in charge of this contest, and IF they plan to address any of the appalling problems we've seen. If and when they have any other contests, I hope they at least read "Be Our Guest".

wow!! so much has happened here since last night!! i, too, had the error message marathon with voting. crazy. i wasn't the culprit up until 6 am, though. i'm not sure who that was...

i loved reading about everyone seeing enchanted! my in-laws put it on for me today--i LOVE that movie! big surprise, right?

like justin, i've been hoping that all of the sponsors have been spending Easter with their families! if people have gotten word and they can't tell us about it, then CONGRATULATIONS!!!

i hope that everyone had a joyful Easter goodnight for now...

You had enough basis for a tech editor for the file size allowed alone, oh oh oh and type of file!!!

Just like when making a movie, they need a continuity expert!
