kenny -- so with all of our 'extra' voting here on DIS, it just made a slight bump...

Way to go Disers! I believe we accounted for an 81% traffic increase yesterday while we practiced how fast we could enter the code!

I think the point was as we were all discussing rapid fire voting and shortcuts that it's important to vote fast, but honest. The LAST thing any of us want is to do anything that Disney could deem flawed or improper play. That would really *!**! Granted, nothing wrong with lightening speed voting or shortcuts. Your expertise on those shortcuts was great by the way.

Actually, I was away all day and not at the old puter. I went on a field trip with my oldest daughter. Had a great time. Will go back to voting after LOST tonight!

Not sure about this, but found it and thought you finalists might turn it into something...it seems to be a pretty good Disney blog with a network of many others. Although the date of this one is back in Feb., I bet they would still love to hear from you guys (if you haven't already found this)!

Disney Dream Chief Magic Official Finalists Begin to Emerge

20 finalists have been chosen to be in line for the first Disney's CMO position.

So, did anyone reading my blog made it to this round? If you are one of the finalists, you are WELCOMED to advertise your video here. I am also curious to hear more about you and the effort you went through to produce your video. Think of it as some behind-the-scenes commentary of your video. I love hearing stories like that if you have any.

Ok, chill Kenny! No one is accusing you of cheating. While tone cannot generally be determined on line your use of all red caps was clearly trying to send a message. Well, message received. And quite personally, not necessary. You know, if you refer back to my post you'll see that I edited it very soon after posting it for fear that you would misinterpret something else I said. I was being considerate of you and would in no way want to say something that could on the off chance be taken out of context. So I edited it in respect to you and the others.

I hope your message to me was cleansing for you. And it was also rude and uncalled for.

For all the others reading this post I sincerely apologize for this post. But it had to be said and I'm ticked!

Fleagle, thanks for finding the links to the newspaper article and the radio clip. I really appreciate the effort! I just listened to the clip and I'm a little dissappointed, but I guess that's life. I was sound asleep when they called. We did the interview at 6:05 a.m. and I'm so NOT a morning person. My energy level was a little low and there were somethings I wish I had said, but at least it was fun!

And, while I don't know if it will translate into actual votes or not, I know that the press coverage really did expand the knowledge of the contest in my area. SO many people contacted me today or popped in to see me at work to say that they had heard me on the radio, read the article, or had seen me on TV.

Some (poor, unfortunate souls) managed to catch all three - and possibly before they'd had their coffee or breakfast in the morning. That's a lot of Justin (yikes, just referred to myself in the third person - not healthy!) to handle in the morning!

Let's clarify. In my opinion, there were only two ways to take your first post.

1. That you were, in fact, able to vote while you were away from the computer. This is how I took it... as you were responding to Calliaz who said she figured out how to do what you were doing. It sure looked like a one-up comment.

2. That you are at least implying that there was a way, and encouraging Calliaz and others to find it.

The rules give the sponsors the right to modify the contest in any way if they feel that the fair play of the contest has been violated. Its at their own discretion... so they could decide that its not fair that someone can vote 38 times in a minute and change the contest however they want.

Not saying they ever would. Just saying they can... which was my original point, and Mrs. Fleagle's after that.


EDIT... oh, apparently Mrs. Fleagle can stand up for herself.
