cm would not check for pin code

Has anyone had this happen? A cm i just got off the phone with would not check my name for a pin code. He stated that disney does not allow them to do this.

I asked, since when? He stated for the past two months. I don't get e-mail or post card but have found pins this way in the past. I have verified my information but still not mailed or snail mailed. I did find two codes by calling in the past, so now I always check before booking.

This happens all the time.Some Cms will say they are not allowed, others are ok with checking.call back

Yep, it happened to me once. And the next time I called I got the nicest CM who was very eager to try and find me a code, with no luck. About 2 weeks later my mom received an email code so we ended up with a room discount for our upcoming trip afterall!

I know the feeling about Disney Travel CM some will go out of their way to be nice & help you get a special deal. But some won't take the time to look. Maybe less money for them? Sometimes they don't even want to look for resorts if what you want is not open

Happened to my husband too, he seems to be getting a lot of not so helpful CMs lately. I know the other day he called and the lady on the phone was all "I don't know" and just transfered him without telling him first. I think it took him five times before he found someone friendly and helpful who could answer his questions.

The offical policy is if you ask for a pin code they have to check. Call back and ask a differant CM. If you dont ask and you do have a pin code though the policy is to not offer it, some do though...
