So, we're leaving tomorrow for WDW:cool1:   :woohoo: :woohoo: :cool1:
My party of 7 had a 9:30pm seating for the HDDR for Saturday. I've been calling a few times a day this week knowing that people could possibly be canceling before the 48 hour mark hoping I could change the ADR for an early seating. Well, I called yesterday and asked if there were any openings for the two earlier shows. I told the CM that we were on the DDP. She asked if it was the premium or the platinum....I said no it was the basic DDP. She then proceeded to inform me that we could not use the basic DDP for the Hoop! I paused and repeated what she said. She said that she was trying to help us out because if we went to the show, they would just tell us at the door that we could not use "our" DDP and would have to pay cash. This is when I said, "Ma'am (I'm from the South) you are mistaken, I most certainly can use "my" DDP for the Hoop. I know I can't use it for Cat. 1 but I can use it. Maybe I need to speak to someone else there." She put me on hold, blah blah blah, yada yada yada....came back on and started looking for openings for the earlier times. She said she had an opening at 5:30 and I was just about to say, "I'll take it" and she mumbled something and put me on hold! She transferred me to someone else. Who, now that I think about it, was probably someone from group dining (again we are a party of 7). The CM I got next looked up the same time and said there was no availability for 5:30 but there was one for 7:15. He seemed just as surprised as me. (I love it when the CM seems happy for you.) Long story short, I got the 7:15 for Saturday but it got me thinking. For those who don't have DIS, people could be inclined to cancel ADR's for Hoop thinking they would have to pay OOP. By the way, first CM did not apologize, of even acknowledge the fact that she was wrong. I kinda got offended as if we were "those" people with only the basic DDP.

Ok I'm over it!!! I'll be in Orlando tomorrow.:rotfl:

Glad it worked out so well for you.

Have fun!:cool1:

Hi, I encounted this same type of PROBLEM when I made ADRS for the Candlelight Proccessional eating at Le Cellier last December. The CM told me that Le Cellier was 2 TS each and repeated herself.I KNEW ;) from the DIS that it was only 1TS per person but I did not bother to correct her, just said that was what I wanted and 2 Ts was fine. Glad you asked for a supervisor! Joan
