I just got off the phone with a CM. My original question was: What is the difference in price if I upgraded from POR to WL or CR for my stay 6/30-7/7. I booked on the 4/3 deal and she said she could no longer pull up the deal anymore in her system and could not tell me anything. Is that true? I would think that Disney would want to take my money rooms are availalbe and I'm willing to pay the difference. Has anyone here upgraded from a moderate to a deluxe under the 4/3? If so would you share the cost difference please?

Also, I would like to know what the quick-service dining plan cost would be for 7 nights for 1 adult, 1 jr and 3 children (If anyone has broken that down?) Any input would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!:wizard:

I can't help you with the rates, but the QSDP is $29.99 per night for adults (10 and over) and I believe, $8.99 per night for children 3 - 9.

I think that because the dates to book the 4/3 deal have passed that you can't change what you have.

This is correct. The booking window for the 4/3 deal has closed and you cannot make changes unless you are willing to give up that deal.

Now that the 4 /3 deal is over, they can no longer see the upgrade cost based on the 4/3 deal....Unless you wish to give up that deal, which i am sure you wouldn't

The OP's are correct. Once the deal window closes that code is no longer available. There is no way to override this. You can do minor tweaking to your res, but any major changes, including room category, dates, or resort, will not reflect the 4/3 pricing.

If another deal comes along you can certainly reprice during that booking window for another resort. The 4/3 or FD tend to be the best deals, but some % off deals have come close.

While you can't use the 4/3 deal, you can see what a quote would be for your trip at WL or CR, and compare that to what you are paying for POR. They have some summer room only deals right now, including club level for Deluxe resorts. Do you want numbers for your week?

edited to add what I found below:

A CR standard room at atrium club level, 1 adult, 1 jr, 3 kids + 8 day MYW base ticket is $4,239.15. With the quick service dining $4,847.80. Add $50 per ticket for the park hopper option, and $50 per ticket for the water parks option.

A description of room: The Tower Club offers limited concierge service, Continental breakfast, midday snacks, and refrigerator (upon request). All rooms have two queen-size beds or one king-size bed, day bed, table and chairs, ceiling fan, and large bathroom with private commode. Tower Concierge Rooms offer views of the Magic Kingdom® Park and parking area, or Bay Lake. Non-smoking and disabled-accessible rooms are available. Amenities include in-room wall safe, voice mail, data port on lighting fixture, phone in bath area, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Coffeemaker and refrigerator are available upon request

IF there is a room available at the WL under the 4/3, you should be able to upgrade or switch. The CM may need to ask a supervisor to do this, since the 4/3 deal has expired. I was able to make 4/3 changes after the 4/3 had ended. Many people have canceled and switched resorts and room categories after the 4/3 ended which has freed-up and changed the 4/3 resort availability. However, if this hasn't happened for your dates and/or resort then there won't be any availability using the 4/3.

What you'll need to do is call the WDTC and tell them you want to upgrade your 4/3 to the WL and ask them to check for availability. If there isn't any availability for your dates and you are flexible, ask the CM to check another date for 4/3 availability.

WDWKOOK is correct! Many disers have reported that they have changed resorts on the 4/3 deal after the 4/3 deal ended. However, the regular CMs were not able to do it. They had to get to a supervisor or a different department (I can't recall exactly) and it was subject to availability.

As others have said, you can have a supervisor in Guest Services check to see if there is availability to switch to another resort. When you call tell the CM that you currently have booked the 4/3 deal at such and such resort. But you would like to see if there is availability at another resort with the 4/3. Tell him or her that as you understand it this is not something they can see and that you need to speak with a Supervisor. If they try to tell you that is not true then insist on speaking with a supervisor.

I have made changes to other package deals after the final booking date. But always had to go through a supervisor.
