Hi everybody,

I was thinking of buying CM PicFolios for some of my wedding picture... Does anybody have a opinion about them?

Thanks a bunch! :goodvibes

Is that the blue plastic thingy to hold your photos?
I have one, but I too unorganized to put my photos into it. I'm planning on giving it to my MIL to use. I'll let you know after Christmas how it works out.

The picfolio albums are nice. You can't add pages to them but they do seem more standard than our regular albums. You can use journal boxes and there are different slots for pics. I haven't opened one up yet, but my upline has one on display. I think they would make great heritage albums too.

Hope this helps

No, it's not the blue plastic photo holder. It's an album with the photo sleeves already in it.

A friend of mine used the CM Milestone Picfolio album in cream for her wedding photos. It came out very nice. She typically is a traditional scrapbooker so the Picfolio style was a little different for her but she enjoyed doing the album. On some pages where she didn't have any journaling to do, if there was an open sleeve section she did an embellishment.

I also know of a Special Olympics athlete who is using the CM Milestone Picfolio for his pictures. Doing an album in this manner is achievable with his limited hand mobility. I love how CM is able to fill the needs of many different types of people with this album.

Thanks guys! I really like the more traditionnal photo album look of the PicFolio for my wedding pictures, but I also really like that I can journal in it if I want to...

I was a little afraid that the quality of the album wouldn't be very "wedding album" but I should know that Creative Memories only does great products!

I think that the PicFolio is pretty cool. I played around with one when one of my clients ordered it. I think it is a good "quick" album. It still gives some flexability to the traditional scrapbooker... since you can rearrange it as you want (no adhesives).

My bad. But thanks for giving a proper name for it. I got it as a "gift" and didn't know what it was or for. Of course had I just taken in my hands and really looked at it, oops, sorry. Sorry Lanie!!

If you don't want to do a lot of cropping then the Milestones picfolio would be lovely - I suppose you could still crop some pics and mount them up if you wanted shapes, but with wedding photos often you want the whole of the picture. The small picfolio (miunutes) would be a great boasting book - you could just put highlight photos (you, the cake, you and new DH, bridesmaids etc.) in very quickly with a little basic journalling so that people could say nice things without having to have everything explained (OK, I'm the one who thought everyone would love to look at my official proofs and have ALL the people in them identified in minute detail  )

But can you resist all the lovely embellishments you could use otherwise.....

You might also look into the Scrapworks Scrap Smart pages and the Bay Box album. You can use as many pages/styles of pages as you need and they are a very nice weight. I just got some and think it may change the way I scrap my own photos. Here's where I got mine: http://store.scrapbook.com/sw-pr206.html

They come in different packs, this is just the multi.
