As prior posts point out, the fact Disney and the investigator(s?) could not share more information with the family of the CM is being predicated on the notion that release of information now could comprise the investigation.
That could be true...if there is an actual scenario or set of scenarios that existing evidence
points to. I.e, the content of the early morning phone call, something on security video or eyewitness testimony is suggesting that "x" (or "x" or "y")
may have happened. So you withold that detail (particularly if you suspect the event involved others) until your investigation evaluates and eventually identifies the one actual scenario.
However, there
is another possibility - that Disney and investigators are facing a "blank slate," i.e. the evidence doesn't point to any particular scenario or possible range of scenarios and they are in essence stuck where we all are: the CM just disappeared.
If that is the case, the clock is ticking and the BMA and Disney (I have yet to see
any proof that any other parties are
actively involved in investigating this) can only carry on the "
investigation is continuing" thing so long before tempers over in the U.K. really start to flare.
And we all hope it doesn't come to that.
