CM made all my dining reservations for party of 4, needed for 5!!!!

I called in March and made ALL of our dining reservations during one phone call. I decided to call to change one reservation time and CM said, he had party of 4 for all of our dining reservations When he tried to change to party of 5, MOST were NOT available He said, my best bet would be to keep what I have and let them know when I check in for every reservation. I am concerned that may be a problem, a problem I didn't create

Any suggestions/ideas, thanks in advance.

If I were you I would call back daily and try to change them. Hopefully something will open up. If you do as he suggested and show up anyway, they will try and fit you in. However, as you are going up in table size, from one that seats 4 to one that seats 5 or 6, you might have quite a long wait.

Otherwise, would you be open to changing restaurants? I'm not sure I would want to show up at a restaruan with a party bigger than what I have an ADR for. Just because I wouldn't want to risk wasting valuable park time waiting for a table. But if you are heart set on a certain place, that might be different.

We had the same situation in November, we booked for 5 but they put us down for 4. When we went to go check in for our lunch we just told the lady we really had 5 but for some reason it says 4. I think we had to wait an extra 5-10 minutes, but got it with no problem! Good luck and hope this helps! Happy planning!

Well this is one time I would just play dumb and not say another word. When you check-in make sure you mention So-&So party of 5 and when they correct you tell them it must be a mistake as it was made for a party of 5.

I could see it being an issue, but it's just really one more person. We went as a group of five this time, and it seemed like we were at no bigger of a table than some parties of 3 or 4...

I'd be half tempted to call back the reservation hotline and ask to speak to a manager. Seems like if it's their mistake they should have to do something to make it right.

Yes, this is what I have done a few times in the past and had no problem at all.

This is why I don't call and confirm - if I arrive and know I have made reservations for 5 then so be it - its their problem not mine.

If I arrive and my reservations are missing it's their problem not mine.

I have arrived and had a few odd problems here and there and just stuck to my guns - quietly and politely - ensuring them I made the reservation for 5 OR I did not cancel a reservation and I have been accomodated every time.

I do keep my confirmation numbers with me and if they bring up a problem I let them know it wasn't me who changed the reservation or cancelled it.

We had a party of five and honestly I don't think we were ever sat at a table for six. It was always a table for four with an extra chair.

You know, I would call back and ask to speak to a manager about the issue, if they are unwilling to change it or can't in the computer system, than if the manager says what the CM said to just go anyways and tell them there are 5 people, I would use that managers name when you go iin with the reservation if they give you any issues.
I work in the restaurant industry..and if you use a mgr name, or if you just calm---ly explain your situation, you shouldn't have any issues!!!

Thanks a bunch for your advice/tips/suggestions. I am currently still calling and hoping for party of 5 tables at the times I had booked. Whatever is not available I will leave as party of 4 and hope they can accomodate us
