CM gave me hints on how to get lucky with ADR!!

I was just on the phone with a lovely CM that was truly helpful...

I am looking for a CRT lunch earlier in the week I am there... I currently have it booked for Jan.4, which is our last day at WDW, and would like to have it on either the 1st or 2nd. I know it's a stretch, considering the crowds... but I do believe in MAGIC

So the CM told me there is no availability right now... but went on to say that people will start cancelling their trips (and ADR) 45 days prior, and that I should try calling then... she even gave me the date to start calling back!!!

She also said that because of the 24 hour cancelling policy, I could even get lucky while on the trip... that I should ask Guest Relations or Concierge every day when I am there!

There is hope people!

Thanks! I never thought of that, but it makes perfect sense. With DVC, canceling happens right before the 30 day mark, so that time frame is good for DVC waitlists. It makes sense for the same principle to apply with ADRs.
