CM comp ticket from DIS store given to us

Hi All,

Just wanted to get your opinions on this situation.

I have a "distant" relative that used to work at a Disney Store.
He gave us a comp ticket he still had for our upcoming trip.

My Question is: Can we use it?

It expires in December 2005 and is good for a day of park hopping at either Disneyland or WDW.

The ticket also has his name on it.

Has anyone else had comp tickets given to them by a family member?

I do not want to get into trouble at the gate with this ticket
(particularly now that they are also doing this finger scan thing)

I had already purchased a 4day Park hopper (non expiry) under the old ticketing system before it all changed to the MYW system.

My son is coming with my daughter and I for our upcoming trip.
Would appreciate your thoughts and suggestions about this.

Yep, you can use it, even if it has is name on it. I had gotten about 8 of these tickets one time and I used 6 of them and my mom used the other two on our trip in Oct. of 2004 and they did not have our names on them. They took them and they did not say anything to us. All you have to do is go up to Guest Services at whatever park you are going to that day and they will give you a one day park hopper pass to use for that day.

I am happy that we will be able to use the ticket

We are counting the days and any additional time we can get in the parks is a great bonus to us

Like I mentioned before, I do already have new tickets purchased for the trip but this was a freebie that I wasn't sure about.
