CM coming soon news - secret out

I am going to have to do one for each of the three kids after our trip this October -
I know Matthew LOVES to look our 2002 book and would love to have one all his own!

Now if only they come out with a 12X12 for me! :)

My two cents---the albums will be available to order May 1st and usually have a turn around time of 1 week, depending upon how far you are from a CM factory (there are 3). I would get my stuff in two days, but other people longer.

I would GUESS the price would be about $26-28 each. The specialty 7x7s are usually $23-25 and the donewithones have been $3 so far. ***I just looked at the picture----this done with one might be more like $6 since it comes with paper too....I would guess the package will be about $30***

I emailed my upline late last night and placed an order for 3. She is ordering 5/1, so I will get them on the NSD party at her house on the 8th! Gosh, I cannot wait! It's almost better that I am a customer as of 5/1 instead of a CMC, cause I don't know if a CMC would be qualified to win the trip. (???) I wouldn't see why not, cause most CMC's buy one of everything for themselves- there is almost a higher chance a CMC would win it, you know, since there are thousand's of them!

And think of this ladies---the SUPER popular Glory album, in the 12x12 size that was released last summer, was originally a 7x7 album the summer before. The 7x7 sold so WELL that they decided to do a 12x12 size. Maybe the same thing will happen with the Mickey album in a year or so, depending upon sales. I think sales are going to go thru the roof and I'm so glad my CMC is ordering on the 1st!

I heard this morning....sounds awesome! Thanks for the links!
Have to figure out what to get!!!:D

Gotta have one, maybe two!!!! We are leaving for WDW in 15 days so I won't get it in time to use as an autograph book BUT I thought I would make it into a small scrapbook for my dd Madelyn to keep forever about her first trip to WDW. She is only 13 months and won't remember this trip but she'll have this cute album forever in addition to the 12 x 12 one I plan to make for the family as well. Too bad the Disney one doesn't come in a 12 x 12. :(

It comes with white pages , but I think I may fill mine with black pages and than mount my pictures and autographs with colored cardstock and the stickers and die cuts from the donewithone and the snap packs. I think there is a place on the site where you can put in feedback. Maybe they will get so many request they will add a Disney emblem to the embossing catalog.

Actually, I believe, if a CM consultants customer wins a trip so does the Consultant. So, heres to hoping my friends order lots of albums so I have a chance to win too!

That's so cool about the CMC winning the trip if a customer wins...I'm going to spread the word so my former upline has a great chance!:teeth:

I knew there was a reason I had't finished adding the pictures to my kids autograph book. I will just take the pages out of their denim 7x7 book. Two fun. Here is hoping they make the 12x12. I guess that is a good excuse for me to put off starting my trip from way back in September.

I can't wait to get mine. I would love to win a trip and take few disers with me.

I have never won anything and this would be a tremendous first thing to win. Sigh....and my consultant wins too...how awesome. fingers crossed here in Ohio.....

Cindy

PS I already sent my email order to my CMC this morning.

I LOVE this album!

I have a question though about making it an autograph book. Would you have the Characters sign directly into the album or would you cut the pages out of the traditional autograph book?

Jenny----

What I have seen suggested is that you have a character sign the album on one side, and then mount the picture on the opposite side. You can fit 1-2 more sets of refills in the album, so you can get lots of autographs! If you put the paper in from the autograph books, it might not be acid free paper and if it's touching a photograph, might wreck your photo faster in the long run.

Thanks for the info! Now the debate of getting just one or two albums for my daughter's.

It can be done several ways ... last summer I took an old CM 5x7 album, had the characters sign on both sides of each page, then when I came home I inserted blank pages between the signature pages and put my photos/decoration on the inserted pages. This lessened the "bulk" of the album while carrying it in Disney.

You could also predecorate the album with CM's Disney snappack, but then you'd have to be careful about where the characters sign ... maybe using a Post-It note on the pages where you donn't want the characters to sign.

You can take PMP (photo mounting paper) or cardstock and get the characters to sign then mount in album (make sure it's acid/lignin free paper) and you'll need something hard for the characters to write on (small clipboard?)

Or buy a spiral scrapbook (Michael's) and have the characters sign in there ... FRONT ONLY ... then remove from binding and mount in album.

Or use Disney's autograph album, but scan and print the autographs onto "safe" paper when you get home.

HTH!

Memaw2Wm,

Thanks! I will have to check Michael's. I don't know that my girls would be careful enough with my new Disney album!

Did you use a scrapbooking pen for the authographs?

What I did with my personal authograph book is:
Cut up card stock/disney print pare into 4x6 squares and had character sign that. I than pasted papers into my book whicj is actually a 12x12 Sandy lion book.

I used the zig markers.

I plan to do what Fire14 did. My "kids" ( 18.19.20 ) have their own books. This time I plan to be in the pic's and get my own autographs. With the picture on the left and the signatures mounted on the right ).
