CM Albums - How many pages?

Hi Everyone,

I just finished up my Disneyland trip from 2009. I currently have 42 Side loading sleeves (84 pages when you factor front and back) in one album and its really thick and heavy!

I am just wondering on how many pages you put in your Creative Memories albums? I normally use the regular pages and not the sleeves but I bought these to try them out.

I am debating on if I should find a way to come up with 2 one pagers to split my album? Or if it is okay to stay the way it is.

I haven't used the side loading pages, but I usually put in 3 packs of the regular pages so about 45 I have a lot of thick and heavy scrapbooks

I do the same thing, 3 packs of pages in one album with page protectors.

How did you like the side loading sleeves?

I used the side loading for a Disney album about 2 years ago with about 30 of them. I sort of like them is the best way to answer your question.

The first album that I used them for I followed the instructions and made sure the last page was flipped the other way however I started having the sleeves bend backwards where you slide the pages in towards the end of the book therefore exposing some of the actual page.

So took the book apart and got the bends out of it and flipped about half of the pages instead of just the last and it seems to have fixed the problem.

I do like that they are easy to use and not have to tape my layouts to the page. However I do miss the little white strip (not sure what its called) on the sides to turn the pages easier instead of actually touching the sheet. So I think I am going to stick with the regular pages in the future.

Wow I had a hard time getting 42 of those side loading sleeves in the book I can't imagine how you get 45 of the regular pages in there! Do you scrap directly on the page or do you tape down a layout? I do my layouts and then tape them down and 35 seems to really push it for me. I run out of the strap to weave it through. Do you put the pages in first and then tape your layouts down? I'm curious on how you get so many in there

I have one that has 45 pages in it, the 15 that came with it and two refill packs. I only have a few that are scrapped directly on the page, the rest just attached my pages to the CM page and put the protector on. It's REALLY full, and the spine cover doesn't stay on too well if I'm looking through the album.

CM albums can accommodate three packages of pages (45 pages) depending how thick your embellishments are.

I always put 3 sets of pages in my CM albums too, but, I don't use really thick embellies and I don't "wallpaper" the pages very often.
