I have Pirate and Pals booked so we have to check in at CR at 8:30 (really 8:45 but they said to check in 15 minutes early). I have been trying to get a dinner ADR for Chef Mickey at 6ish but the only time available is 7:20. Do you think this is possible? I figure we can ask for the check as soon as we sit down to make sure that is settled and we have other character meals so if we end up missing a character it is not a big deal. Plus we have to check in in the same area. I will keep trying to get an early ADR but if not should I bother keeping 7:20 or just pick up some counter service?

I think it is too close for you to enjoy your meal. We have had to wait before at CM. Possible that you may not get seated and started till going on 8:00 or later. Keep trying for another ADR or just grab something quick before P&P.

I also think that is cutting it very close and since Chef Mickey's is very popular there is always a chance you will need to wait past your scheduled ADR time to be seated.

Darn it!
I figured it was too close but was wishing it weren't. Oh well. I guess I'll keep trying. We are staying at POR so we could just grab dinner in the food court before we head over but it would have been nice to be able to have dinner at Chef Mickey before. We have breakfast scheduled later in the week so maybe it will work out better that way.

Well even though it's not Chef Mickey's have you thought about trying the Contempo Cafe which is the Contemporary's counter service location? The reason I ask is because it's located right next to Chef Mickey's and depending on where you sit you can look inside there, see the characters and hear what happens. Or do you think your kids might be to distracted by going to eat there and etc?

Total thread hijack: How much is the Pirates and Pals cruise for adults and kids? We're thinking about doing this in May. Thanks! ;)

Hi, There is a thread with the price somewhere on the theme park board. I'll see if I can find it. I know that for 2 adults and 1 child is 141. I think each adult is in the high 40's and each child is in the high 30's maybe, plus tax?

I found the prices
Adults 53.99 kids 30.99
It looks like it will be very fun!

You could try going a few minutes earlier than your ADR and I think it's totally doable since the food is cooked, hot and waiting for you. We find ourselves there only about an hour anyway when not in a rush. I would just go a bit early if an earlier ADR doesn't present itself.

I agree it is cutting it too close. When we were there in the fall they didn't get us in on time. If you were sure you would get in right away you would be fine but you might miss some of the characters. The problem is you just don't know if they will be on time. have fun!

I need to look into Pirate and pals, sounds fun
