Okay folks this may be a little tough or maybe just repetative. I was checking out seaworld web site the other day and had no idea the park was that large and so many different attractions. I am all disney and have been like 6 times never to visit anywhere else. now in the process of taking DGD for first trip she will be 5 and wanted to hit seaworld and thought i could do it in a couple hrs and head back without wearing her out. i see that is not possible. I have deceided to maybe add 2 days to my trip and experience seaworld at leisurely pace the seaworld after dark caught my interest. Does anyone recommend this. need lots of info and should i rent rooms near seaworld or take shuttle from disney?:surfweb: :cool2: :confused3

I certainly recommend 2 days for a proper trip to seaworld. There is NO WAY to see all their shows in one day as well as all the exhibits. They have some neat evening shows (variations on their daytime shows) and may have fireworks (depending on the time of year). I have also heard their luau is good (on my to do list!...).

Are you staying on Disney property? I didn't think they offered shuttles to Seaworld. (They want to keep you on property spending money with them!!!)

If you have to rely on shuttles, then I would try and stay closer to Seaworld if you can OR figure on using taxis for more flexibility. Personally I don't like being tied to shuttle schedules :-)

Thank you for your info. It will be fun planning this, i figured about 2 days. I am dvc member and aaa mabye can find good discount on what i am trying to put together. Have a great day.

We never spend more than one day at Sea World. Like one of the other posters mentioned, there's no way to see all of the shows in one day.....but we never want to see them all. We have a four year old and a one year old and they have better things to do than to sit down for a show LOL. We catch a few of them and spend the rest of the time looking at the animals.

We went a couple of years ago. We barely saw the park in a day. Since we wanted to see as many shows as we could we skipped most of the regular animal exhibits. Here is what we did:

First we went to the Dolphin Feeding area. The park opens at 9 am and at 9:15 they have their first feeding. For around $5 you can buy a tray of fish and the dolphins come up out of their tank and take the fish from your hand! This was awesome.
Next we went straight to the Clyde and Seamore show. This was a so funny. We sat in the front because my dad is disabled, but it was hot and sunny there. You may want to be under the awning.
Next we went straight to the dolphin show. This was amazing. There is a splash zone. If you end up in this splash zone, it isn't bad at all.
Finally we made it to the Shamu show. It was awesome too. Do not sit in the splash zone unless you want to be dripping wet from head to toe. I couldn't believe how wet people got. Some ended up leaving before the show was over.
At this point it was about 1:30 and we ate lunch and did a few other exhibits. There was still a lot to see but we were tired and left around 6 pm. The park is pretty big and you might see something on the map that looks close, but it is a lot further than you think.

Good luck.
