Clueless about.....MNSSHP...help!

I keep hearing and reading about Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and not quite sure what it is all about. Not even sure what ? to ask....Never gone in October so this is all new to me. Read about buying tickets to it. Doesn't the park pass cover it? Is it celebrated at all the parks or only MK? Does the park close early on the party dates and open up for those who already bought tickets. What happens at the party? I've read about trick-or-treating and etc...but really confused by it all. Any help would be appreciated...Also, I have a 2, 3 and 6 yr old....is it for young children also or mainly for older children and adults????? Thanks so much!!!!

We went a few years ago...the kids had a great time! I think its the best place for a family of Disney Fanatics to spend Halloween!

It's held AFTER the park closes. It's extra. It's a Halloween party with decorations, music, trick or treating, a Halloween parade and fireworks. It's GREAT fun and to us it's worth every penny!
