I am not holding out much hope. Looking on the bright side one less thing to pay for... Guess disney don't want the extra $$$$.

I'm hoping for it. I have 12/2 Saturday as an off day. This would be an amazing surprise. I assume you also need a park ticket? I have 10 day hopper but staying 11 days so would have to add on one more day. I can do that right?
Would cost over $500 but if it comes and I can pull it off wow.
Yeah definitely do need a park ticket![]()
From the info I've been given if it comes back it will be outside a park this time. It won't be at Sunset Showcase in HS.Yeah definitely do need a park ticket![]()
Correct, no 11 day tickets sold inside the USNot sure if you can get "11" tickets, without starting over and buying a single day ticket. Cross your fingers it happens, and worry about it later![]()
Anything over 10 days require a Annual Pass unless you're buying your ticket from an UK seller. Not sure if you can get "11" tickets, without starting over and buying a single day ticket. Cross your fingers it happens, and worry about it later![]()

No, limit on tickets in US is 10 days. Many purchase the WP ticket when they have stays that extend over 10 days. You have 10 park admissions and 10 WP admissions so plenty of options for 14 days. Or an APWow. I thought you could get up to 14 since that is how long free dining can be for. That really messes with my 2021 plans.
Well I'm not paying $900 for club villain. Lol!! I could rearrange something I guess but probably not.

But, as I said, if it were to come back, it won't be in the park.

Sadly I'm losing hope we'll get Club Villain this year. They would have announced it by now.
The 2 locations that were tossed around in some meetings at the end of the last run were a ballroom at CR or Atlantic Dance Hall. And can't stress enough these were just locations tossed around as ideas, not strong possibilities. The only thing said was, if it returns (and it's a huge IF as there are no plans for it to return right now) it would NOT be in the park.Any rumor or guess at where it might be? DH and I attended last December and we are super bummed that it's not currently offered for our Nov/Dec trip this year.
Not really, if it were to return they would have to have started casting by now. They have not.Not exactly; we're only in July yet and if they were to announce it for October then there's still time. August may be the month to look for.

From what I was told overall it had very few negative reviews or comments. But a recurring one was it was in a park and required a park ticket. So in the post event meetings it was discussed that if they do have it again it would leave HS and be held at a location that did not take a park ticket.I believe you, but this never made sense to me.
Why not bring it back, specifically to HS, for 2017? With Great Movie Ride gone, and nothing new coming until next summer, I'd think they would want to give people additional reasons to visit the already attraction-thin HS. A special event in a currently unused building, which has previously housed said event, seems like a no-brainer... especially for this year.
I suppose there are angles and reasons that wouldn't even occur to me. Perhaps there is something else coming to Sunset Showcase, or maybe this is a $ decision based on the fact that they're utilizing less cast members for the next couple of months.

They do have a lot of events in Sunset Showcase. Just not used for public or ticketed events. It's used by corporate events often.
All valid points but you have to at least give them some points for listening to reviews. Thanks for the info. From a business perspective, I'm surprised that they would even consider taking it away from HS, at least until next year.
HS + CV = popular additional reason to purchase HS admission and upcharge opportunity
HS - CV = no popular additional reason to purchase HS admission and no upcharge opportunity
With a lack of attractions, numbers down, and public interest waning until next year, why not offer another reason to move feet into Hollywood Studios?
I understand there probably wouldn't be a compelling reason to hold it in Hollywood Studios starting next summer, but why not keep it around in the meantime, or at least for a few months?
...Because the public doesn't like paying admission to a park in addition to the upcharge?!? Disney is in the putting-paying-people-in-the-park business, so that seems hard to swallow... especially considering that WDW still offers several upcharge events that require park admission.
Now if the event wasn't profitable, or wasn't as popular as it seemed, or if the space is in higher demand for corporate folks, the disappearance of CV makes sense.
