Not sure if this should be part of the MNSSHP thread but if its not, and if ok, thought I would post this in case anyone else is waiting and watching. :maleficen

This was information from 2016 provided by @monique5 - thank you for your help and information! :)

I was just thinking about this today! With the release of MNSSHP tickets, though, I was wondering if Disney might bring CV back in the fall. I think a separate thread is fine since CV hasn't exclusively been held during MNSSHP "season," though.

i'm still on the fence on this because of DD age 10. its expensive and she doesn't do well in large crowds/loud noise BUT she LOVESS the villains. Hopefully if Disney does announce this, its something I can wait on until we're much closer and see where she's at. :)

Club Villain tickets weren't available until July, right? Sigh.

For last fall's "revival" of CV, yes - tickets went on sale for September and October dates on 7/14/16.

The original "run" of CV was from Jan-Mar 2016. I don't know when tickets became available for that but, at the end of Dec 2015, Disney canceled existing March reservations, increased the price, and then relisted the event (they did allow people with canceled reservations to re-book in March at the original price). Disney then added April and May dates and opened booking for those in March. I bought tickets for 4/23/16 as soon as they became available, which was 3/5/16 according to my e-mail. That run ended in May 2016. There was a few months' hiatus and then it was brought back in September 2016 (announced in July, first show was on 9/2). Disney slowly extended this run, too, and ended the event in January 2017.

This was the best event I've ever been too! We ended up at the last day (it was the date that worked for us and then they never extended it further) and I was blown away! If they bring it back there's a good chance I'll book a trip out just for it!

Thank you for the help :)

No problem. It was only mentioned in the 2016 MNSSHP thread, under Post #2 - Halloween Happening. There was a separate thread for it last year too.

Feel free to add to your Post #1 as 2016 details......This is what was in Post #2.

Awesome, thank you again! I couldn't find that thread! :)

We did Club Villain over our Christmas trip 2016 and loved it, hoping to repeat again in 2017.

My 9 year old LOVED it and it was the highlight of our trip. The crowds were not an issue at the event I was at, however, it was VERY loud and there really wasn't anywhere to find a quiet corner if you were looking for one. Just something to consider...

I just wanted to add that I've been to Disney parks here and abroad countless times - and Club Villain was my favorite Disney parks experience ever. It helped that we went on a rare long weekend without the kids, but it would have been just as fun with kids along (though much more expensive). The cost was totally reasonable for 2 adults who can eat a full meal and still pack away several drinks from the open bar.

Thank you for doing this!!! Your first page looks perfect! This is so exciting!

As reports come in I hope you'll feel more comfortable about DD but you know what's best for your daughter and that's the bottom line!

So happy for you & your new thread! WOOT!:maleficen

Thank you for starting this! I've been wondering how I was going to keep up with news about new Club Villain dates. I've been dying to do this since it was first announced, but the dates were at times when we can't vacation due to school. But, this year my parents are flying in to watch our kids so DH and I can go on our first ever kid free vacation to Disney in October. I was so excited about the possibility of CV that we added a day and will be missing DS's soccer game so we can go. I'm feeling some guilt over missing his game, but I ❤️ the villains and I may never get this chance again! Now Disney just has to announce that it's happening and when!
