Club upgrade?

I’m booked in a minion suite and called to find out if we had access to the club. He told me we did not and then I asked if we could pay to get access and his response was that we were in a different tower and wouldn’t have access to it.

My understanding was that club rooms are spread out through the hotel. I’ve also heard of people getting access to the club that were not in a club level room. Has anyone had experience with this?

They could have changed the rules, but if it was available you could sometimes upgrade if you were in a regular room. If they are busier they won`t allow any extra upgrades.

Club Rooms are not spread over the hotel, they tend to be in T3 floor 7, but if they are busier you can be on the 6th floor.

Minion Suites have never automatically come with Club Access unless that`s what you booked.

Did you call the hotel directly or the call centre? The hotel will know better than the call centre and certainly more than I would know, but it might be worth another call if you really want to pay to upgrade.
