Club Level - Should I have the concierge book ADRs?

Hello!

We just book a trip for December for FD on the club level at Beach Club. This will be my first time with a club level reservation, so I'm sorry if this question has already been answered. I did not see an answer when I searched.

The concierge at BC indicated that they could make our dining reservations for us 180 or more day in advance. I assume the "or more" is the +10 days for staying on property. My question is....do people normally use the concierge for ADRs or do they tend to book on their own? The concierge said they see it happen both ways. I am curious if I am more likely to get my choices through the concierge or if I'm better off being online the minute our dates open.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

The concierge doesn't have access to any more reservations than anyone else. What they can do however is continue looking for certain ones. So I would make all the ones I wanted myself, and if there was one I couldn't obtain, I'd ask them to keep looking so I didn't have to.

THANK YOU!

I had them make our ADRs. Our 180 day mark came during a particular stressful & busy time, so it was really nice to not have to worry getting up early & making them myself. Also, I did get everything I asked for & when there was an issue with a time I wanted, she made two reservations & asked me which I'd like to keep. So it worked well for us.

I prefer to book my own ADRs. Last year I wanted CG at a specific time and asked the concierge at BWI to check for me. I wound up finding it on my own a few weeks later. The only advantage I see to having the concierge do it for you is if you have no time or desire to deal with it yourself.

Half the fun in the planning process is making our own ADRs, IMO. For our upcoming trip, I made most of our ADRs with the exception of the Wanyama Safari (which has to be done through AKL IPO anyway), the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage, TH pre-park opening and the Behind the Seeds Tour. When I went online to make our ADRs at about 6:30AM on our 180 day mark, the Wanyama and TH ADRs were already on MDE.
