So we are booked for a week at the club level at the
Disneyland Hotel. We have had a horrible time getting reservations at the 60 day marker anywhere on property so decided to call the hotel. After talking to the hotel I asked, what DOES concierge assist with? Do they have the ability to get those hard to book reservations and this is what i learned:
They will call the hotel and put you on await list
They do not have any access to anything outside of what a guest has (i.e. the my disney experience App)
There is no way to book a dining experience if the restaurants are booked they are booked.
I also asked, outside of the food and drink in the club, what is the actual value of having the Concierge?
I was met with., " I know this must be frustrating, and the value is knowing that we are available 24 hours a day to assist if you need someone to cancel or get you something ".
Doesn't the front desk do that?
So for the extra $350 a night I get zippo. This is not the experience we have encountered at the WDW Florida resorts. And I am sad to say, this is a one and done experience for us. If we weren't already booked on flights... it would be cancelled. Truly a disgrace.
