Hello this is my first post so I apologise in advance for any errors or stupid questions:).

We are coming from England to Universal for the first time in August. We are staying club level at HRH and I wondered if anyone has any recommendations for requesting a particular room? Eg near the lounge, near the elevators, noise level etc.

There are 4 of us - me, husband and kids (15 and12) and husband probably woukd prefer to be a bit quieter! I thought i had seen someone mention good views of the parks from club level. Is this the case and if so, which rooms would be best for this?

Any other tips much appreciated :thumbsup2

Thanks in advance.

We're staying at HRH club level :cool1: for the first time this year also and would love any info any one can give. we love the hotel, been there many times but never club level.

i always requested near the elevator on club level.

some of those hallways are long.........and then turn into another hallway.

club lounge is catty corner from the elevators.

i last had a king suite which was 7100 i believe.

it was at the end of the hallway from the elevator.
the area where the halls shoot out in 3 directions.

the rooms on that same side all faced the pool and park.
great views!

Anyone know if you can reserve a HRH room with the pullout loveseat on Club Level? (I think they are considered "deluxe" and cost a bit more?)
I just made a reservation at Portofino club for the 5 of us because most of their regular rooms have a pull out chair. But, I like the idea of having the room on the same floor as the club room and Portofino doesn't have that.

you can request it but its not guaranteed. if its available when you get there you should end up with it but you won't know until then. :sad2:

We arrive very late on our first night at Hard Rock Club level, probably about 11pm. I assume we will get the worst view/worst room? Rats.

nahhhhh you'll still get a great room!!! You'll be at the Hard Rock :thumbsup2 in a club level room :woohoo: on vacation in Universal :worship: You're gonna love it not matter what! what dates are you going to be there...we're at the HRH club level august 19 - 26. :dance3:

call them before you leave on your trip.
let the front desk be aware you will have a late arrival.

Hello :). Thanks for the information re being near the elevators. Can I ask if there is more than one set of elevators? I presume there is one set in the middle of the sort of C shaped building but are there any at the ends of the 'C' arms? If there are can you go down in those and get out to the pool without going back to the middle of the building?

Hope this makes sense! Thanks in advance.

i'm only aware of one set of elevators by the general public.

when you are walking out of the lobby, the elevators will be on the right side hallway. there are 6 elevators.
3 on each side in that hallway/cove.

they run from 1st thru 7th floor.
if you are on club, your hotel key is programmed to go to 7th.
all others, only to 6th.

i'm sure there could be a service elevator in the building but guests don't use it.

to answer your question, yes, you can use the stairs.
i understand the C shape and lifts but not at the hrh.
but you can use the stairways to leave the building.
you come out to the side of the building.
right near the pool.

i have used them only once.
when i was on floor 5, i wanted to try it out and time it.
readers digest vs: the elevator was better for me....

there are many that have rooms in the back corridors that use the stairs and enjoy it.
they emtpy out on the 'C' you mentioned.

We are also staying for our first time at the HRH Club Level from Aug. 14th - 17th, with two teenage boy's as well. I am thinking the food will come in very handy...... not sure where they put all the food they eat!

i took 3 sons to CL at HRH.
there were more interested in getting a beer to take back to the room.
btw, they were teens then, all underage.....14,15,16.........

they had to settle for coke.

they ate so much in the parks and city walk, food wasn't important to them at club.
boy, did i waste my money on that trip.......

they were in the park from opening until closing.

Hello again :). I have just found a site with floor plans but it won't let me post the link as I am a newbie :confused3 I love it :yay: thought it might be useful to others. Its room77.com and Hardrock Orlando is a featured hotel. Just set your preferences and off you go.

Sorry if this has been posted before and is well known.

We arrived about 3:00 p.m. and got probably the worst view HRH Club has to offer...right above the signage of the hotel. Truly the worst view of any hotel we've ever had, including a really horrible view room at Wilderness Lodge that same trip. :rotfl:

So I don't know if your arrival time will affect the room you get, but I can assure you there ARE rooms with terrible views at HRH Club!

Have fun at Universal! All my sons (16, 16 and 24 at the time) had a blast at Universal and prefer it over Disney.

You said it! My boys are big eaters, so I thought the club level food would put HRH in the red once we were done with it, but they hardly touched it! :confused3

We will be there the same time as you in CL. I booked for the same reason as you. With three kids to refill on snacks between meals it really helps:thumbsup2

Club level is great! Breakfast and waters alone are so worth it!! (Beer and wine is kind of nice too:rolleyes1) The "evening offerings" were hit or miss, but usually everyone found something they liked.
All the lounge employees were so extremely helpful and kind!

We are going to be club level the 18th - 26!!!:cool1:
