hi guys,

We are staying club level at AKL in October 17 and wondered if the concierge still contact you in advance to help with things like reservations? We have heard rumours that this is no longer the case.

Hi
Yep, its true. It seems they have centralised the Concierge services, so you don't get the itinerary guys contacting you. If you send them an email though they respond quicker than they used to...
The details are over on the Club level questions bit on the Resorts threads
Enjoy AKL, we having dinner over there to dip our toe in the water this year, for the AKL CL next year, so let us know what its like.....

Boma, for dinner. Thinking of hitting AK about lunchtime, come out for dinner, and then go back to see Pandora at night or ROL. We always book a restaurant in the hotel we are thinking of staying at the next year. Club Level is nice, we have done it at Grand Floridian a couple of times and we are doing Poly this year. The thing we always worried about AK was it feels quite a long way out...is it OK?

AKL club level is really nice! one of the nicer ones....
i hear people saying that about it being a long way out..
i never felt it...

That's why we try and use an adr to check for ourselves generally. Everyone said that the GF was kinda posh and stuffy, but we never felt it once we had visited. I think it really pays off to check stuff out. Looking forward to seeing it, we think it will be really nice

We like that it is that bit further out as it is nice and calm, plus has a lot less foot fall than the delux resorts closer to the parks. We have never had a problem with the buses either, they have always been on time and pretty efficient.

Boma is lovely, we alway eat there at least once every visit, loads of choice and tones of flavour.

We can't wait to experience club level at AKL, having a room with such a great view of the savanna and all the other perks will make it such a magical trip I'm sure. We broke through the 200 day point today so starting to plan our ADR's

I'm staying for a week CL at AKL this June. Its my second CL visit and I had read that the original pre-visit concierge system has changed to what is now called Disney Signature Services.I had not heard anything after several weeks of booking and was advised to send them an email with my reference. They emailed me straight back asking if they can be of assistance.

Rather than wait, no harm in sending them an email at disney.signature.services@disneyworld.com

Good luck
