Hi, How and /or what is the VIEW from Club Level?? And is 7th floor ALL Club Level?? Has anyone ever stayed on another floor and had ACCESS to Club Level?? I am asking because I have a Club Level room at HRH booked for the end of July-no dicounts :( and I am trying to get a DELUXE room with the Club Level and keep getting the same answer CANNOT DO!! So do I stay with the Club Level and HOPE for the BEST or do I switch to a DELUXE Room? There are 5 of us, 2 teens and a 10 year old, so I feel we need the extra room. But I like the Club Level for breakfast included and drinks available. Any input is appreciated!!! Thanks, Joan

I've stayed Club Level several times, and *always* had a pool view...pretty certain there are garden View rooms too. I don't know if there are any really "bad" views from that level tho.

As far as your are "all 7th floor rooms Club?" question...yes, they are! You cannot get to the 7th floor w/o being in a paid-for club room.

And you cannot stay on another level and have Club Floor access...I know, because I've tried.

5 in a room...that's tight...I don't know much about the difference between a standard Club, and a Deluxe...so perhaps someone else can help there. I know the hotel has Kid Suites, but only 1 of them on Club Level, and it cannot be pre-booked...it's based on availability at check-in only...and mostly used for upgrading folks who've had problems.

I suggest a $19.99 WalMart air mattress tho...can't be beaten, and *very* comfortable!

I have the exact same dilemma and am going in early June. I finally called the front desk, talked to the desk manager and he tagged my res. for a deluxe. He also told me that if at check in I did not get the deluxe, I could stay in a normal deluxe but have club access.

I did not want to reserve a club, not have a deluxe, and be uncomfortable. But, I didn't want to, at check in, change to a regular room and be hit will full rack rate.

After much explaining, I'm hopeful. I'll let you know!

I hope when I go in July I will get into a club level deluxe but im never lucky like that.I get the room from hell every time.If i ask about an upgrade they charge me double when thay will give you the room for free.Im just unlucky:confused:

There are no Club level deluxe! I called 3 times...spoke to different people and they all said the same thing! All rooms on Club floor are standard size with the exception of 1 King suite and 1 kids suite! I too need a deluxe room, but would like club priveleges, so I booked a deluxe room(room is more important to me). I am hoping at check-in that a suite on Club level becomes available to upgrade!

Julie, Could you let me know by PM what happens when you check in at the the HRH??? Thanks, Joan (We are not going until July 23rd)

I have read several posts that say that there are deluxe room on the club level, but that they can't be requested or reserved.

will do! I'll try to remember this thread so It's easy to find you pm.

Our last visit we had a Kid Suite, and had "requested" Club Level. It wasn't available upon our arrival, so I asked if we could have "access" to Club Level...and made it very clear I'd be willing to pay for it.

I was refused!

I asked for a manager, again explained what I wanted, and he FINALLY relented and granted access to Club (he repeatedly commented that they do *not* do this because of the amount of people they have on that floor and the problems it causes having guests from other floors)...but that the cost was to be an additional $50 per person!!!

Since there were four of us, they wanted an extra $200/night.:earseek:

Well, for THAT kind of $$$, I could order room service...3 meals per day... so I thanked him for his generosity  and went 'clubless' for the duration.

I like it...but heck, that was just plain ridiculous!

I'm not sure if you would consider the view we had a Christmas good or not! DH didn't like if, but I thought it was OK. We were told at check-in we had a pool view, but when we got in the room( about 5 hours later), it was actually a view of a parking lot! It did also include a view of the back part of US, whcih was the good part. DS was not feeling well for most of our stay, so we missed the Macy's parade, but caught what we could see of it from our room. We could also see Dueling Dragons in the distance.

Quick update on club level HRH deluxe.

I had called front desk direct to request room 7019 as another dis'er had said that was a deluxe room. Told by manager to call back one week out and check on it.

So, called this morning and they have that room blocked off for us beginning 6/6. Said the only way we would not get that specific room now is if it had a mechanical problem or if a guest "overstayed", but if that happened we would be given priority on another of the deluxe club rooms.

Time will tell.....

Getting anxious.

Goldcupmom- thanks for the info and please update when you return. We are staying club level in October and have 3 children so a deluxe room would be great.

Hi Julie, HAVE A GREAT VACATION!!! And Good Luck at the HRH! I also just noticed that you live in New Mexico - WOW! - that is on my someday I will visit there list! ::yes:: Joan

HRH club level has 2 king suites, 2 kids suites, and what looks to be four deluxe rooms. About 1/3 of the rooms overlook the front entrance way or the guest parking areas. These are the worst views. The rest overlook the pool or have some type of garden view.

We have been back for a week plus, and we got the same room we had back in the fall. I got my reservation through quikbook.com, and had to pay full price, as we wanted to be at the parks for the APH event on the 22nd. We checked in at 10:30, and remarkably, our room was ready and we were able to drop everything in the room before we headed to the parks with room keys in hand!

Room 7101 is a very large room; I do not know how it compares with other rooms, as this is the only one I have stayed at in the HRH. There are two double beds, very comfortable, with very nice white duvets and lots of pillows. There is also a small table with 2 chairs, a lounging chair next to the window, and a couch that folds out to an standard "fold out couch" bed. We have comfortably stayed there with two different combinations of 6.

The view from that room is of the back courtyard and the boat launch, with the Universal parking building and the Doubletree (formerly Radisson) in the background. Pleasant, but nothing to write home about.

We like that room because it is right across from the ice machines, but quiet. Apparently, the cast from the mummy stayed in the same arm, as we saw some of the "special" trays the brought out after the cast parties - spectacular!

Ask me if you have any questions!:sunny: :Pinkbounc

From the looks of the floor plan, 7101 is a deluxe room. 7099 is as well and 7100 is a king suite.
