Club level during covid

We have a reservation during Christmas week staying club level. We were really hoping to enjoy all of the extra amenities as a treat for the trauma of 2020! We are on the fence as to just change our reservation to a standard room or keep the club level. How are they handling the lounges at the moment? Has anyone stayed club level lately that has any reviews on the differences of now and past club level experiences? I definitely do not want to pay a club level price, without receiving the extra benefits! TIA

Sorry to tell you there is no CL service currently available since the reopening started through the end of the year.

Ok...so I guess we should just change to a standard view. We were really hoping to enjoy our first club level stay this Christmas. What a bummer!

Piggy backing onto this, we have a CL room booked in January at the BWI, if club level isn’t available do you think there would be a slight price reduction on the room? Just curious. Also they did contact us to see if we wanted to move and offered AKL villas since we’d have access to their club level. We declined but I thought that would be interesting to note.

Right now the BWI has no reopening date scheduled. It was scheduled to reopen Oct. 3 but on July 27th Disney announced that it would not be opening on that date and is now closed until further notice.

While the AKL Jambo house DVC rooms have reopened as of July 10th no announcement has been made concerning CL services reopening so stay tuned to this thread for any updates.
